Tamping isolation support device. Plug insulation for heat pipes ete. are known, wherein a wire mesh is stretched on support rings, over which a hard jacket and a bandage is placed over the latter. The cavity between the wire mesh and the line is filled with dry plug insulation material such as slag wool and the like: The support rings used consist of a perforated band and angle arms, with the band and arms being loosely assembled and the latter resting on the line.
The assembly of these support rings composed of several parts is time-consuming and cumbersome and places higher demands on the skill of the fitter if the insulation should be carried out well and cleanly. Depending on the width of the line and the insulation, different sizes of the angled arms must be kept in stock.
The present invention is now a support ring provided with a stuffing insulation support device. According to the invention, the support ring is characterized in that it is open and its ends have suspension means which can be brought into engagement with one another at various points to change the width of the ring. On the support ring are also inside. Arms set that are supported on the line and are isolated from this.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, and it shows: Fig. 1 the support device in front view, with partial section, Fig. 2 is a side view, the upper half in section, Fig. 3 is an insulation from the Page ge see in different manufacturing phases, partly in section.
1 is the line, for example a hot water system, on which line support rings 2 are angeord net at intervals from one another. The wire mesh 3 is stretched over the support rings 2 (FIG. 3). The cavity between line 1 and wire mesh 3 is filled with dry insulating material 4, such as slag wool, fiberglass, etc. Over the wire mesh 3, for example, made of cork, stone, jute, etc., the coat 5 is placed, over which the outer covering 6 formed from a paint or a bandage is arranged.
From the support ring go radially inwardly projecting arms 7, which see ge from the side are at right angles. The horizontal arm parts 7 'are provided with insulating interchangeable pads 8, which the device 1 lie against. The pads 8 are made of asbestos and keep the heat dissipation from the line to the support ring behind. The outer ends of the arms 7 are provided with pins 9, and the band ring 10, which is open, is placed over the former. The rectangular pin 9 firmly engage in corresponding rectangular holes 11 of the band ring, respectively. are riveted to these so that the support device forms a coherent whole.
One end of the band ring 10 has an outwardly directed locking hook 12 which is formed by bending, and the other has a hook-in holes 13 arranged at intervals from one another. The locking hook 12 loosely engages in one of the Einhä, ngelöcher 13, and by pulling the tape ends against each other, the tape ring can be opened. By attaching the locking hook 1? into a more or less distant from the corresponding end. Attachments, the width of the band ring can be reduced or enlarged. Also come the arm parts 7 'well on the line 1, respectively. the 'documents 8 to lie.
By using thicker or thinner pads 8 respectively. Replacing the same can precisely match the arm parts 7 'on the line 1 can be effected.
The support device described ge equips a very easy assembly because it consists of a whole and the ring is adjusted in its width within certain limits who can. When the band ring 10 is open, the support device can easily. from the side on the cable 1 provided with the plug insulation (Fig. 3).
The closing and possible reopening of the band ring 10 can also be carried out quickly and safely, since no screws or other similar fasteners are involved. A loosening of the individual parts from which the support device is composed remains excluded, so that such parts cannot be lost during transport and assembly
