Description
Beim Zubereiten von Speisen in einer Bratpfanne besteht die Notwendigkeit, die Speisen zu wenden oder zumindest, bei kleinerstückigem Bratgut,.umzuverteilen, um ein Anbrennen zu verhindern und eine gleichmäßige Erhitzung zu erreichen. Dieser Vorgang erfolgt je nach Art des Bratguts mit einer Zange oder einem löffelähnlichen Schieber. Die Anwendung einer Zange empfiehlt sich bei größerstückigem Bratgut, der Schieber eignet sich sowohl für größer- als auch kleinerstückiges Bratgut.When preparing food in a frying pan, it is necessary to turn the food or at least, if the food is small, to redistribute it to prevent it from burning and to ensure that it heats evenly. Das Wenden oder Umverteilen mittels Schieber erweist sich dadurch oft als nachteilig, daß der Schieber unter das Bratgut geschoben werden muß. Auch in diesem Fall kann es zur Beschädigung kommen, oder das Bratgut rutscht durch die heute übliche Gleitbeschichtung vor dem Schieber über den Pfannenrand hinaus.Zudem besteht der Nachteil, daß das Bratgut, falls es von dem Schieber aufgenommen wurde, zum Zweck des Wendens aus mehr oder weniger großer Höhe von dem Schieber in die Pfanne fallen muß. Diese Ausbildung hat den Vorteil, daß durch den Schieber an den Rand geschobenes Bratgut nicht über den Rand hinausfällt, sondern vielmehr umgedreht wird und auf den Schieber zurückfällt, wodurch auch ein Aufspritzen von Fett vermieden wird.This object is achieved according to the invention in that the edge of the frying pan is curved inwards at its outer end towards the middle of the pan.
