Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Amids. Es wurde gefunden, dassi man ein neues Amid erhalten kann, wenn man 2-Amino-3- methoxydipheny2enoxyd derart mit Acet- essigester kondensiert, dass das 2-Acetoacetyl- amino,-3-methoxydiphenylenoxyd entsteht. Die Kondensation findet zweckmässig in Ge genwart von organischen Lösungsmitteln und einer geringen Menge eines Enolisierungs- mittels bei erhöhter Temperatur statt.
Das 2- Acetoacetylamino- 3 - methoxydiphenylenoxyd stellt ein weisses Pulver dar, das sich in ver dünnten Ätzalkalien löst und, aus Äthylalko hol kristallisiert, bei 137-138 schmilzt.
Das neue Amid wird zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen verwendet. Es gibt mit diazotier- tem 1-Amino-2-methyl-4-nitrobenzol oder mit diazotiertem 1-Amino-2-nitrobenzo!1 wertvolle rotctichig-.gelb färbende Farbstoffe; diazo- tiertes 2.5-Dichloraminobenzol oder .diazo- tiert.er 2-Amino-4-chlordiphenyläther führt. zu wesentlich grüner färbenden Produkten.
Beispiel: 21,3 Teile 2-Amino-3-methoxydiphenylen- oxyd werden in 150 Gew.-Teilen Chlorbenzol nach Zusatz einiger Tropfen Diäthylanilin am absteigenden Kühler zum Kochen erhitzt und gelöst. Man gibt langsam 15 Gew.-Teile Acetes@sigester zu, kondensiert 4 bis. 5 Stun den unter Abdestillieren des gebildeten Alko hols und von etwas Chlorbenzol.
Nach been deter Kondensation lässt man erkalten, putscht das Auskristallisierte Amid ab und wäscht dasselbe mit etwas Alkohol nach.

It has been found that a new amide can be obtained if 2-amino-3-methoxydiphenylene oxide is condensed with acetoacetic ester in such a way that 2-acetoacetylamino, -3-methoxydiphenylene oxide is formed. The condensation expediently takes place in the presence of organic solvents and a small amount of an enolizing agent at elevated temperature.
The 2-acetoacetylamino- 3 - methoxydiphenylene oxide is a white powder that dissolves in dilute caustic alkalis and, crystallized from ethyl alcohol, melts at 137-138.
The new amide is used to make dyes. With diazotized 1-amino-2-methyl-4-nitrobenzene or with diazotized 1-amino-2-nitrobenzo! 1 there are valuable reddish-yellow coloring materials; diazo- tated 2.5-dichloroaminobenzene or diazo- tiert.er 2-amino-4-chlorodiphenyl ether leads. to much greener coloring products.
Example: 21.3 parts of 2-amino-3-methoxydiphenylene oxide are heated to the boil in 150 parts by weight of chlorobenzene after adding a few drops of diethylaniline on a descending cooler and dissolved. 15 parts by weight of Acetes @ sigester are slowly added and 4 to 4 are condensed. 5 hours while distilling off the alcohol formed and some chlorobenzene.
