Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungs beispiel der erfindungsgemässen Maschine dar. Fig. 1 ist eine Vorderansicht eines Teils der Maschine; Fig. 2 ist ein Schaubild der die Auftrag teile abstützenden Federn und ihrer Träger platte; Fig. 3 ist eine Seitenansicht des in Fig. 1 dargestellten Maschinenteils; Fig.4 ist ein Schaubild der Kapillar röhrenträgerplatte;
Machine for applying glue to fferkstücl @ e, especially to shoe floors. The application of adhesive in tape form on uneven workpiece parts, such as. B. shoe bottoms before attachment of the outsole is, as is already known from patent no. 182707 ago, associated with substantial difficulties. The problem of the invention of applying a uniformly thick adhesive layer in tape form to uneven surfaces has already been solved in the above-mentioned patent by the special design of a nozzle made of rubber for the machines applying the adhesive under pressure.
The flexible nozzle grinds along the workpiece to apply the adhesive. However, nozzles made of rubber or similar materials have the disadvantage that they wear out very quickly, so that they have to be used more often.
Furthermore, these nozzles can not be used for a long time, e.g. B. overnight, remain immersed in a solvent medium for the adhesive to prevent the hardening of the adhesive in the nozzle lines, as the nozzle decomposes easily.
The present invention aims to maintain the advantages of the nozzle while eliminating its disadvantages.
According to the invention, a nozzle apparatus is used which has a plurality of mutually separated, swingable application parts made of metal, to which the adhesive is fed separately.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the machine according to the invention. Fig. 1 is a front view of part of the machine; Fig. 2 is a diagram of the application parts supporting springs and their support plate; Figure 3 is a side view of the machine part shown in Figure 1; Figure 4 is a diagram of the capillary tube support plate;
Figure 5 is a view of the various types of application parts; FIG. 6 is a diagram of one of the application parts shown in FIG.
The construction and operation of the machine correspond to the known machines used for applying adhesive under pressure. On the machine frame sits an adhesive container from which the adhesive is pumped by means of a pump under pressure through a hose 26 to a nozzle apparatus after the valve 30 which controls the adhesive flow has been opened (FIG. 1).
The workpiece, in the present case a shoe 40 (FIG. 1) placed on a last 42, the upper edge part of which is pinched over the insole 46 and which is provided with a metal articulation piece 48, is raised by the worker with the bottom up against the Nozzle device held. The shoe bottom part is progressively moved past the nozzle apparatus, the workpiece being pushed by a rubber roller 50 in front.
In an arm 56 (FIG. 1) of the machine, a shaft 58 which can be adjusted in the axial direction is fastened, the adjustment of which changes the application point of the adhesive tape on the shoe bottom. At the outer end of the shaft 58 sits a downward zei gender, through a clamp bearing and clamping screws 62 (Fig. 3) on the shaft ver adjustably attached L-shaped carrier 60, at the lower end of which two horizontal arms 64 and 66 (Fig. 1) are trained. In the arms 64, 66 there are recesses. horizontally right lower surfaces 68 and vertical side surfaces 69 (Figure 3).
The main part 70 of the nozzle assembly fits snugly. between the arms 64 and 66, since Liche flange parts 72 of the main part 70 sit on the lower surfaces 68 respectively. after inserting the main part 70 between the arms 64, 66 against the side surfaces 69 that determine the working position.
In this position, the main part is locked by a clamping lever 74 (FIG. 3) which is mounted on a bolt 76 on the carrier 60 and whose lower fork end 7 8 rests on the flange parts 72 and clamps them firmly, the lever 74 by a screwed into the carrier 60, against the upper end of the lever 74 abutting hand screw 80 against the flange 72 ge is pressed.
The nozzle apparatus shown. shows. a number of separate, swingable ble, plate-like order parts, the different shapes 82 BEZW. 84 resp. 86 have. Each application part has an adhesive line 124 (FIG. 3) which opens into an outflow opening 88 within a V-shaped groove 90 (FIG. 5). The grooves 90 are formed in the lower ends 83 of the application parts. The application parts 82 and 86 are the two outer ones.
So that the width of the adhesive strip to be applied is precisely determined, the outer edges 92, 94 of these parts 82, 86 are slightly longer than the corresponding inner edges 96, 98, which prevents the adhesive from spreading outwards since Lich. The inner edges 96, 98 are, as shown at 100, cut out so that the adhesive spreads laterally inward and flows together with the strips of adhesive pressed out by the application parts 84, with cutouts 104 formed in the side edges 102 of the application parts 84 flowing together facilitate.
The application of an uninterrupted adhesive tape is facilitated by the grooves 90, which prevent. that the workpiece closes the outflow openings 88, and that furthermore always remain filled with adhesive. The groove walls are preferably at an angle of <B> 90 '</B> to one another. When using certain adhesives, however, they advantageously only enclose an angle of <B> 80 '</B> between them.
As shown, the nozzle apparatus has, for example, seven order parts, -wherein the side surfaces of the order parts lie against one another at their upper ends. The order parts are pivotably mounted on a sleeve 110 (Fig. 3). As a result, the application parts can also be removed more easily for cleaning. A bolt 116 is inserted through the sleeve 110, which is seated between two flange parts 114 of the main part 70 of the nozzle apparatus, and is fastened by a stake 118.
As shown in Fig. 5, the lower ends 83 of the order parts 84 are evenly wide and the central parts of the same narrower, as shown at 112 in Fig. 6, whereby the friction between tween the parts is reduced. Furthermore, it is made possible that a solvent is dripped onto the application parts and between the openings thus created in order to prevent the application parts from sticking together. The middle parts of the outer order parts 82 and 86 are only offset on the inside.
As shown in Fig. 1, the flange portions 114 are cut out at 120 to prevent friction between the outer application portions 82, 86 and the main portion 70 of the nozzle apparatus and to allow the supply of the solvent. A downward movement of the lower ends. the order parts below a certain level is prevented by striking the upper ends 85 of the order parts against the main part 70.
The adhesive is fed to the outflow openings 88 of the application parts through a number of flexible capillary tubes 122 (FIG. 3) made of metal, the lower ends of which are inserted into the lines 124, which prevents damage to the lower ends of the tubes through contact with the workpiece. The possibility of movement of the load-bearing parts is not reduced as a result, since the tubes not only slide in the lower ends 83, but also can easily bend when the application parts are bent upwards by the pressure of the workpiece.
The tubes 122 are inserted into a carrier plate l26 (Fig. 4), the upper ends of the tubes open into a cavity 128 which, when the plate 126 is verbun by screws 130 (Fig. 3) with the main part 70, with a Line 132 in the main part 70 are in communication. The top of the conduit 132 is connected to a conduit 134 in the housing 136 of the valve 30. The lower end of the housing 136 is connected to flanges of the main body 70 by bolts.
The tubes 122 extend through a groove 140 formed in the plate 126, which is filled by a solder 138 (FIG. 4), so that the tubes are fixed in the plate 126, the solder not in any way during soldering can flow into the tubes. The insertion of the tubes 122 into the lines 124 is facilitated by semicircular grooves 142 (FIG. 6) formed in the lower ends 83 and aligned with the lines 124.
When the lower ends 83 are approximately in alignment, the operator need only lift the plate 126 and push the lower ends of the tubes 122 into the grooves 142. Springs 150 (Fig. 3) lying against the application parts resist the upward pressure of the application parts and facilitate the insertion of the tubes into the grooves 142. When the tubes are pressed into the grooves, all tubes can be opened by a slight downward movement of the plate 126 (Fig .3) are pushed into the lines 124.
The lower ends 83 are despite the uneven application areas of the work pieces by the springs. 150 pressed resiliently against the workpiece. The springs 130 are parallel to each other and are inserted into a plate 154 (FIG. 2). A number of parallel grooves 156 are formed in the bottom surface of the plate for receiving the tops of springs 150. Furthermore, a number of holes opening up into a groove 158 of the plate are provided in the recessed part of the lower surface of the plate. The.
Upper ends of the tongues 150 are bent upwards approximately at right angles and are inserted through the holes so that they lie in the groove 158 in which they are fastened by a solder 160 filling the groove. The upwardly bent lower ends of the springs 150 are inserted into V-shaped grooves 152 formed in the application parts (FIG. 6), whereupon the plate 154 is fastened to the main part 70 by screws 162 (FIG. 3).
So that the application parts do not adhere to one another due to the adhesive, a solvent for the adhesive is dripped onto the same through a tube 164 which is seated in a carrier 166 fastened to the machine frame. The solvent is added dropwise from a container 168 through the tube. The container is closed by a handle 170, and the supply of the solvent is regulated by a nut 172.
The operation of the machine is as follows: The shoe is presented to the machine with the bottom up, as shown in FIG. 1, whereupon the valve 30 is opened by actuating the pedal lever and the adhesive is carried through the nozzle apparatus. At the same time, the feed roller 50 engages the side of the shoe and pushes the shoe so that the adhesive is applied along the edge of the shoe bottom. A uniform application of the adhesive is made possible by the spring-loaded application parts, which individually adapt to the shape of the floor of the shoe.
Every single part of the order is. so narrow that its side edges remain in engagement with the bottom of the shoe when the adhesive is applied. As a result, an uninterrupted and evenly thick adhesive tape is applied.
