Mobile trestle for motor vehicles. The invention relates to a mobile trestle device for motor vehicles, which is provided with steering roller bodies and is set up so that the vehicle wheel to be supported in the event of a flat tire reaches a recess in the trestle via a ramp, in which it remains when the vehicle is with the vehicle is driven to the place designated for the repair under its own power without using the damaged tire for the journey. Is the motor vehicle with the.
mobile device under the damaged tire reached the goal, it can be jacked up in a known manner so that the wheel can be removed to repa ured or. to be replaced by a spare wheel: The mobile unit, which has served its purpose after jacking up the vehicle, is brought back to a leashed storage location so that it is always at hand when necessary.
According to the present invention, the ramp is rotatably connected to the bracket by a transverse axis and is provided with a lever arm protruding into the trough for the wheel tire, through which it can. the road is pivoted upwards as soon as the motor vehicle wheel enters the recess of the block. The ramp therefore does not prevent the vehicle from moving. to the place designated for the repair.
The drivable Bock device can not only be used in the case of flat tires, but is also suitable for use in garages when parking motor vehicles with at least 180 four-swiveling steering roller bodies. For this purpose four such Bock devices are necessary through which all four wheels of the vehicle to be parked are supported abge. The motor vehicle can then be moved both in its longitudinal direction and perpendicular thereto, that is to say in its transverse direction. The motor vehicle can therefore be moved into any gap that offers enough space to accommodate it.
The drivability in all directions achieved by the trestle devices under the four wheels of the motor vehicle even makes it possible to turn the motor vehicle around its own axis on the spot.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in one embodiment.
1 shows the mobile trestle device for motor vehicles in a side view, FIG. 2 in a plan view and FIG. 1 in a cross section along the line 3-3 of FIG. 2; Fig. 4 illustrates in plan the bracket of the device in the spread state. The mobile device has a block 5, which is formed as a cart with castors 6 and is made of a material that gives it the greatest load capacity with the lowest weight. The trestle can even be made of wood. On the side walls of the bracket 5 brackets 7 for the steering rollers 6 are attached, the axis of rotation 8 rests in a carrier 9 which is rotatable about a vertical axis 10 in the bracket 7. Die Lenkwalzen 6 sind mit dem Zahnriemen 7 und 7 [3].
Ball bearings facilitate the rotatability of the rollers 6 and their carriers 9.
The block 5 is provided with a trough 11 for the tire of the motor vehicle to be supported vehicle wheel. The wheel remains in this trough when the motor vehicle is driven in one direction or the other.
With the bracket 5 is a ramp 12 in decorative binding so that the motor vehicle to be supported can roll into the trough 11. The ramp 12 is also provided with a trough 13 so that the wheel running on the ramp cannot slide sideways, but rather runs reliably into the trestle trough 11.
Like the block 5, the ramp 12 can be made of any material; it is reserved to use wood as a material for the ramp.
An articulated but releasable connection is provided between the bracket 5 and the ramp 12. For this purpose, a rigid lever 14 is attached to the bottom of the trough 13 of the ramp, which is provided with opposing side pins 15 which fit into an upwardly open bed 16 of the block 5, while the free lever arm 17 to over the middle of the trestle 11 also extends. The arm 17 is curved in accordance with the rounding at the base of the trestle trough 11, but protrudes above the base of the trough 11 when the ramp 12 rests on the roadway.
The vehicle wheel running over the ramp pushes the lever arm 17 downward when it penetrates into the trough 11, so that the ramp 12 is pivoted up over the roadway, as is indicated in dash-dotted lines in FIG. A slot 18 at the bottom of the trestle 11 allows the arm 17 of the lever 14 carrying the ramp 12 to pass through when the ramp 12 is raised to such an extent that the pivot pin 15 leaves its bed 16. The ramp 12 can thus be released from the bracket 5 if this is desired for the trip of the bracket with the vehicle wheel supported on it.
To secure the position of the ramp 12 on the road when the motor vehicle wheel runs up, the lower surface of the ramp is provided with roughening 19 or with an elastic's covering.
So that the motor vehicle wheel supported on the bracket 5 can be brought onto the 'roadway in a simple manner, the bracket is divided vertically along its length, that is, the two halves 5a and 5b best starting, which can be rotated at the front end by the perpendicular hinge axis 20 are connected to one another, while at the end facing the ramp 12 there is a locking device which joins the two halves 5a and 5b. After releasing the lock, the two halves 5a and 5b are actively spread into the position according to FIG. 4 under the pressure of the motor vehicle wheel resting in the trestle 11.
The merger of the two halves 5a and 5b of the block is accomplished in the exemplary embodiment by the hook bolt 22 rotatable about the vertical axis 21 on half 5a, which includes a pin 23 on half 5b. The free arm 24 of the itaken bolt 22 emerges laterally from the bracket, so that it can be rotated by hand or by foot pressure in order to release the pin 28. can. Unwanted locking is prevented by a case pawl 25, which is rotatable about the horizontal pin 26 on the bracket and can be raised at the free end 27.
If the vehicle wheel to be supported is to be raised to such a height that it can be replaced by a spare wheel after the vehicle has been jacked up and after the support device has been removed, auxiliary jaws 28 are used which can be inserted into the support recess 11 by means of pins 29, as can be seen from Fig, 3:
