Pièce à musique. La présente invention a pour objet une pièce à musique comprenant un .disque rota tifdont l'une des faces est munie d'aspéri t6s destinées a;
Music piece. The present invention relates to a musical piece comprising a rotating disc. One side is provided with aspéri t6s intended for;
to vibrate the blades of a keyboard. This musical piece is ca ractérisé in shell the aforesaid disc is free to rotate with respect to a pinion of the same axis to which it is connected by a snap,
pinion which meshes with a toothed member re linked to a control member, and in that it comprises.
an elastic member reacting to the action of the control member by a known return force transmitting from one to the other of the toothed members and serving to drive the disc in rotation by means of the aforementioned latching , which disk drives a moderator train.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
The fi: g. 1 is a plan view of this embodiment, FIG. 2 is also a plan view from the same side when certain parts are removed.
Fig. @ 3 is a vertical section through the axes of a gear train.
A shaft 2 is fixed in the bottom of a plate 1. (On this shaft can turn freely, on the one hand, a pinion 11 riveted on a roehet 12, on the other hand, a disc â, super placed on the ratchet 1; 2 and on which -is mounted a pawl 18 with its spring, so that this pawl and the ratchet cooperate:
The disc 3 has a gear 19, which meshes with a pinion 5 of a wheel -6, which meshes with the pinion 7, of a wheel 8, and the latter meshes with the pinion 9: of a flywheel 10 The three pinions 5, 7 and 9 @ are mounted between the plate and a bridge 4.
Under the disc 3., a spring 14 is screwed into the plate and acts; on a pin 17 of a toothed sector 1.5 of axis 16 which meshes with the pinion 11. Also au- below @du say that 3 is disposed a rocker 20 of axis 2i1 which has a pusher outside the plate and which
-is intended to act on the che town 17 opposite the spring 14. The lever 20 carries a pin 23 which cooperates with a ramp 26 of a spring 24 which passes above the edge of the disc 31.
In its region which overhangs this edge of the disc, this spring has a notch, arranged between two ramps, into which a che town 25 of the disc 3 can enter when things are in the position shown.
The disc 3 carries pins 27 intended for. cooperate with the blades of a keyboard? 8 to set them in vibration.
The operation of the assembly described is as follows: When pushing on the pusher 2 against the spring 14, the sector 15 rotates the pinion 1.1 in the direction of clockwise. The ratchet 12 then slides under the pawl 1 3 without pulling it.
Before the end of this winding movement of the spring 1-1. the pin 2 , 3 acting on the ramp 26 releases the pin 2.5 from the disc, which is however still retained against the slight force due to the friction of the pawl on the ratchet, by inertia of the transmission train.
When the pusher -is brought to the full travel, the pin 25 is therefore not significantly -displaced, although it is released by the spring 24. The pusher is then abandoned; the spring 14 relaxes by acting ning the sector 15 which turns the pinion in the opposite direction of clockwise. The pawl is then driven by the ratchet, which rotates the say 3.
The pegs 27 pass under the blades which correspond to them respectively, raise them by their ends provided with ramps not shown, and abruptly abandon them to put them into vibration.
When the disc has turned by one turn, the rocker 20 has returned to the position of FIG. 1 so that the spring 24 has resumed the position for which it stops the che ville 25. Thus, each pressure -on the pous evening provides the energy necessary to play the melody which corresponds to. one turn of the disc.
The advantage of this room to. music is that it can be constructed in very small-sized embodiments, for example similar to a wristwatch; it may have only a height of five millimeters, a width of twenty-four and a length of thirty-four millimeters.
This allows its adaptation to. Items of jewelry such as candy boxes, etc.
1) e more, one could provide an assembly. allowing the keyboard 28 to be removed so that the disc can be changed when one wishes to change the melody played by the piece.
The flywheel 10 could be replaced by any other known moderating device. The kinematic connection of the toothed sector and of the pusher could differ from that described above. The spring 14 could be replaced with a spiral spring attached to the pi.-No 11.
The shaft on which the disc is mounted could obviously be integral with the pinion and the ratchet and be pivoted between the plate and a pon. Or, the disc could be -soli daire of a pivoted shaft on which the whole of the pinion and the ratchet would be free to turn.
The ratchet could be integral with the say that, while the pawl would be carried by a plate integral with the pinion.
