Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 Bogie on which two butting ends of the wagon are supported. In such bogies it is known to provide each of the car ends with a hemispherical pivot pin, of which the pivot pin of one end of the car is mounted in that of the other end of the car, the pivot of the latter end of the car rests on the bogie and thus the whole weight of both ends of the car the bogie has to transfer. This pivot is therefore under high surface pressure and tends to seize.

  According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided in that the pivot pins of the two car ends are supported directly on the common bogie and that the pivot pin of one end of the car surrounds that of the other end of the car in an annular manner.

  In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in one embodiment.

     Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section through the common bogie; Fig. 2 shows the associated cross section.

  One end of the car 1 carries a pivot 3 which is supported on the pan 4 on the cradle 5 of the common bogie. The other end of the wagon 2 carries the annular pivot 6 which surrounds the support socket 4 of the first pivot and is also supported on the cradle 5. For this purpose, an intermediate piece 7 is attached to the cradle which, by means of the edge 8, prevents the annular pin 6 from sliding off the cradle. The cradle 5 is supported by it. attached longitudinal leaf springs 9 with pendulum hanger 10 on the frame 11 of the rotating frame -ab. The frame 11 is resiliently or otherwise mounted on the axle bearings, not shown in detail. The wheels of the bogie are labeled 12.

   The cradle 5 is guided in the vertical direction relative to the bogie frame 11 by means of links 19.

  With the arrangement according to the drawing

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 If the pivot 6 is provided with a flat call bearing surface 6a, then the associated call bearing surface of the cradle 5 is always parallel to this surface 6 and thus only the car body 1 can rotate in all directions with respect to the cradle 5.

  In Fig. 2, the mounting flange 14 of the ring pin 6 at the end of the car 2 is indicated in dashed lines. Lateral stops 15, which are attached to the end of the wagon 2 and only come into contact with the stops 15 ″ of the cradle if the ring pin bearing surface should become detached from the seat 6 ″ on the cradle 5, are also indicated in dotted lines.

  The car body 1 is mainly supported on the pivot 3 by only weak lateral spring supports 16 are provided.

  However, the pivot pin 3 can also be designed as a relieved pivot pin and the entire load can be transmitted to the cradle via lateral spring supports.

  The pivot pins can of course also be supported directly on a fixed cross member of the bogie frame 11 instead of via a cradle 5.

  The part 18 of the ring pin can be designed as a cover by providing a parting line lying in a transverse plane between this part and the other part of the ring pin attached to the car body 2, these parts being held together by screws, not shown. After loosening these screws, the car body can be lifted off without also having to lift the other 1.

  The ring surface 6 does not necessarily need to be flat; it can also form part of a spherical surface. Instead of the stops 15, 15, resilient side supports can also be provided, which relieve the ring pin at least partially.
