Appareil destiné à être placé dans un foyer, afin d'assurer la combustion des gaz qui se dégagent au-dessus da charbon. La présente invention a pour objet un ap pareil destiné à être placé dans un foyer, afin d'assurer la combustion des gaz qui se déga gent au-dessus de la couche de charbon.
Cet appareil est caractérisé en ce qu'il est cons titué par un corps tubulaire fondu, muni d'ai lettes intérieures, dans lequel débouche un tube d'amenée d'air extérieur, cet air étant réchauffé dans ledit corps et envoyé ensuite dans le foyer dans lequel est placé l'appareil, cet air sortant du corps tubulaire par des tu bulures réparties sur la longueur de ce corps.
Le dessin annexé représente, schématique ment et à titre d'exemples, deux formes d'exécution de l'appareil faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 représente isolément, partielle- ment en coupe, une forme d'exécution de l'ap pareil destinée à un foyer de chaudière de chauffage central; La fig. 2 montre extérieurement une se conde forme d'exécution appliquée à un four neau de cuisinière. L'appareil représenté en fig. 1 se compose d'un corps tubulaire métallique 1 de section quelconque, fermé à chacune de ses extrémi tés et possédant extérieurement un. certain nombre de tubulures d'évacuation 2, 2', 2", 2"', etc., réparties sur sa longueur.
Ce corps. 1 est également muni d'ailettes intérieures 3, 3', 3", ,3"', venues de fonte avec celui-ci. Un tube 4, fixé près d'une des extré mités du corps 1, amène l'air de l'extérieur. Pour son montage dans le foyer d'une chau dière, son extrémité 5 emprunte l'ouverture existant sous la porte de chargement de la chaudière, du fait de la jonction des deux par ties de la section de façade et du trou du bou lon qui les, retient.
La forme d'exécution représentée en fig. 2 est appliquée à un fourneau de cui sine. Le corps 6 de -cet appareil est placé ho rizontalement au-dessus du foyer et fixé à la paroi du fourneau au travers de laquelle sort 1c tube de prise d'air 7. Cette forme d'exécu tion ne présente qu'une rangée de tubulures d'évacuation, alors que l'appareil de la fig. 1 en présentait trois rangées.
L'appareil de fig. 2 présente aussi des ailettes intérieures.
Le fonctionnement des appareils représen tés est le suivant: Lorsque l'appareil est disposé dans un foyer, par suite du tirage de la cheminée, l'air extérieur pénètre par les tubes 5 ou 7, se surchauffe et s'échappe par les petites tu bulures pour brûler tous les gaz combustibles qui se forment dans le foyer au-dessus de la couche de charbon.
On pourrait prévoir des formes d'exécution applicables à d'autres. types de fourneaux ou poêles, foyers industriels, etc., en modifiant la forme du corps tubulaire et l'emplacement du tube d'amenée d'air extérieur.
