Description
Zuftbefeuchtungsapparat an Radiatoren.
Air humidifier on radiators. The invention relates to an air humidifier on radiators, in particular from central or floor heating systems, with one or more hygro-scopic paths lying in the hot air flow of the radiator, partially immersed in a water tank. The known devices of this type still have insufficient surface evaporation in relation to their space requirements.
The present invention now relates to an air humidifier of this type, in which a considerable increase in surface evaporation is achieved with simultaneous construction simplification. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the hygroscopic webs lie directly on the radiator and are perforated.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the air humidifier mounted on a radiator installed in cross section; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the humidifying apparatus on a smaller scale, and Fig. 3 is a front view of the apparatus.
1 is a hanging on the back or front of a radiator R water container of long, flat shape, whose one longitudinal wall is extended upwards and bent at right angles, and is at a distance from the upper edge of the other longitudinal wall. By means of this elongated, horizontally bent vessel wall part 2, the water container 1 is arranged on the radiator R. The wall part 2 is at a distance above the radiator R and it can be used as a shelf. In the water tank 1 next to each other several hygroscopic Bah NEN 3, z. B. absorbent cardboard, blotting paper, absorbent fabric or the like, which are perforated on their entire surface.
The part of the webs 3 protruding from the water rests directly on the radiator R and is covered by the horizontal part 2 of the container 1. Corresponding to the hygroscopic webs 3, the cover plate 2 is also perforated, so that the air flowing upwards on the radiator can pass through the holes in the hygroscopic webs 3 and the cover plate 2 and, by intensive brushing of the hygroscopic web, an extensive amount of water server evaporation causes. The good absorbency of the webs 3 ensures that the water continues to flow out of the container 1.
The lateral edges of the tracks 3 are encompassed on their horizontal part by guides 4 attached to the underside of the cover plate 2 and guided. The guides 4 also serve as a stiffener, the cover plate 2. To secure the A clamp 5 is used to position the apparatus on the radiator R, which is fastened to the underside of the cover plate 2, for example to the central guide 4, and can be clamped to the upper connecting pieces of the radiator elements.
The absorbent cardboard used as hygroscopic webs 3. Blotting sheets or the like can easily be replaced after use (calcification).
The hygroscopic tracks 3 could also run in a wave or zigzag shape in order to obtain a larger surface and thus a large evaporation effect.
