Luftbefeuchter.

Humidifier.
The subject of the present invention is an air humidifier, which consists of tiered vessels made of porous material, of which each lower vessel catches the liquid draining from the upper one in order to also make it evaporate due to the porosity of the wall. The amount of evaporated water depends on a number of factors, such as the thickness of the wall and its porosity, the liquid. - depends on the height in the container and the moisture content of the air, it is not possible to achieve an energetic humidification with the arrangement of a single vessel filled with water and at the same time prevent the drainage of excess water on the outer surface - under all circumstances.
The invented arrangement allows the selection of conditions that ensure sufficient moisture release in the driest air and at high temperature, without the risk of run-off in humid outside air and low temperature, which would have to be countered by placing bowls or cups underneath.
In the drawings three embodiments of the invention are shown.
The evaporation vessels arranged one above the other, as shown in FIG. 1 of the drawing, consist of individual vessels a, b, which are made from one piece, the webs c connecting the two vessels to one another. The individual vessels a, b can also be separated from one another and inserted into a common wire frame d (FIG. 2).
When using the humidifier, only the upper vessel a is filled with water. The water that does not evaporate on the outer surface of the vessel flows into the lower vessel b, collects in it and passes through its porous wall

vessels are stacked in the same way.
Finally, as shown in FIG. 3, the evaporation vessels arranged one above the other can also be formed by bulges or extensions of the wall

large numbers can be provided. Each of these cups catches the liquid that runs down from the wall of the vessel and from the upper cup and causes it to evaporate through pore action. The same effect that is achieved by the protruding cups g can also be achieved by appropriately shaped indentations of the turning

the area of the evaporation vessel is increased.
