bIehrwegsteueror gan.
return route control organ. The invention relates to a multi-way control element and consists in the fact that the movable part of the element is designed as a rotary slide valve divided by at least two walls into at least three rooms so that not only .der or. .the between the.
Walls, but also the spaces outside the walls can be used as a connection path between the Leitungsanschlüs sen. When used in ventilation systems that can be switched to fresh air exhaust and recirculation mode, especially in gas protection room ventilation systems, the rooms in the moving part of the control unit can be designed so that both the supply and exhaust air connections of the room to be ventilated as well as the supply and exhaust air connections:
se the atmosphere, resp. of another room can be switched in relation to each other in such a way that the slider can be used not only to set one or the other operating mode but also to connect to another air intake point, for example if the one in operation cannot be used:
become. is. When using the reusable control element in liquid pumping systems, the spaces in the moving part of the control element can be designed so that the rotary valve can not only be used to reverse the flow of liquid, but also to set a partial circuit within the system.
The rotary slide valve overlap between the spaces of the movable part of the control element is expediently dimensioned so small that the rotary slide valve is also used to measure the air flowing through the slide valve. Amounts of liquid. can be used.
The walls dividing the rotary valve into at least three rooms can consist of metal sheets that are welded together with the rotary valve. The spaces in the rotary valve and the connections of the lines can also be arranged in the same plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rotary valve.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are brought into use in a ventilation system for illustration.
Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of the entire ventilation system. FIG. 2 shows a partial section drawn on a larger scale through the multi-way control element and FIG. 3 shows a schematic representation of a further embodiment of the same.
a is a gas protection room and b respectively. c the zu- or. Exhaust duct of the same. d is a fan built into the supply air line, which is constantly in operation while the shelter is in use, and e is a multi-way control element designed as a rotary slide valve, connected to lines b and c,
that by the lines f and g at two spatially separated points 1a respectively. i is connected to the atmosphere. k is a filter built into line b and l is a bypass line connected in parallel to the filter, in which a closing element is arranged for the purpose of
by closing resp. Opening the closing element to feed the supply air into the protective space either through the filter or by bypassing the filter, depending on the condition.
In the position of the rotary valve designated by 1, fresh air from the atmosphere is supplied to the protective space through line g and the displaced exhaust air is expelled from the protective space through line f into the atmosphere, i.e. H. The system works in air freshening air mode, in which the fresh air is sucked in from the atmosphere at point i and the exhaust air is returned to the atmosphere at point h.
The slide chamber is divided into three compartments p, q and r by two walls n and o. This not only ensures that the rotary valve, when it is brought into position 2, connects lines b and c directly with one another, terminating lines f and g, thus switching the system to recirculation mode,
but that it also, when it is brought into position 3, connects line f to line b and line g to line c, thus swapping the roles of lines f and g with respect to position 1 and the fresh air intake point moved from i to h , which is of great importance that the fresh air recirculation mode can still be maintained,
if, for example, point i has become unusable as a result of contamination of the air present there and vice versa. In the further is achieved with a so-trained switching device that it is in certain inter mediate positions, z.
B. in the designated with 4, allowed to draw the air sucked through the same dureh, partly through the line f from the atmosphere and the other part from the exhaust air line c, so the ventilation system in mixed operation, d. H.
to let work partly in recirculation mode, partly in fresh air exhaust air mode and to change the proportions of the two Betriebswei sen by simply adjusting the slide as desired. s is a crank for adjusting the rotary valve by hand and t a felt seal around the valve walls n and o.
u is a closing element built into a branch of line g and il is an air filter made of earth, the whole of the kind that can be drawn from the atmosphere either directly or via the earth filter by opening or closing u air of your choice.
Exactly the same effects are achieved if the rotary valve, for example, is given the shape shown in FIG. 3 with walls n and o forming an obtuse angle and the various lines are connected to the valve housing as shown in this figure will.
The different positions of the slide are marked here with the same numbers as in Fig.l and 2 be.
