gaminhnt. Die Erfindung betrifft einen. Kaminhut mit einem oben durch eine Deckplatte abge deckten, auf einem Gurt aufgesetzten Auf satz.
Beim Kaminhut gemäss der Erfindung weist der Gurt an seiner Oberseite einen Wulst auf, über welchen der Aufsatz ge stülpt ist-, das untere Ende des Aufsatzes ist mit Ausbrechungen versehen, die mit dem Gurt ,Schlitze bilden und die Deckplatte sitzt auf dem Aufsatz mittels Füssen auf, welch letztere Öffnungen für ,den Durchgang von Wind und Rauchgasen seitlich begrenzen:.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeichnung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel .dargestellt, und es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht .des Erfindungs gegenstandes, Fig. 2 einen jTertikalsehnitt durch denselben und Fig. 3 eine schaubild- liche Darstellung,dess-elben,
unter Weglassen der Deckplatte.
Der mit einem dem Rauchkanal 1 im 'Kamin 2 entspreohenden Kanal 8 versehene Gurt 4 ist auf den Kamin 2 aufgesetzt und trägt den Aufsatz 5.
Zur Sicherung des Auf- satzes 5 in aufgesetzter Lage besitzt der Gurt 4 einen nach oben gerichteten Wulst 6, auf welchen das, untere Ende des Aufsatzes 5 gestülpt ist. Inder Längsmitte jeder Seite ist ,
der Aufsatz 5 an seinem untern Ende mit je einer Ausbrechung versehen, welche mit dem ,darunter liegenden Gurtteil einen Schlitz 7 bildet, dessenabere Begrenzungsflächenach innen schräg nach oben verläuft.
Die Deck platte 8, welche den Aufsatz derart überragt, dass sieden. Eintritt von Regenwasser in den selben verhindert, ist mit Füssen 9 ausgerü stet, die in entsprechende Aussparungen 10 am obern. Ende des Aufsatzes 5 eingesetzt sind. 11 sind zwischen den Füssen 9 vorge sehene Öffnungen.
Bei ruhiger Luft treten die im Kamin aufsteigenden Rauchbase ohne weiteres durch die Öffnungen 11 ins. Freie.
Tritt aber seit licher Wind ,gegen den Kaminhut, so bewirkt er an .der dem Wind abgewandten Seite,des Kaminhutes einen Unterdruck,
welcher eine Saugwirkung auf die Rauchgase ausübt und letztere durch die Öffnungen 11 und 17 an der dem Wind abgelegenen Seite berausbe- fördert. Da die äussere Oberkante des Schlit zes 7 tiefer liegt als die (Yberlia-nte des Wul stes 6, verhindert. sie ein direktes Einströmen des 'indes durch diesen Schlitz 7 und lenkt den Wind in der Hauptsache ab.
Dabei ist die Ausladung des Gurtes so gross. dass sie den aufsteigenden Windströmungen den Ein tritt in den Rauchkanal durch die Schlitze 7 verwehrt.
Die drei Teile des Kaminhutes, der Gurt d, der Aufsatz 5 und die mit Füssen verse hene Deckplatte werden zweckmässig aus ar miertem Beton hergestellt. Die Unterseite der Deckplatte könnte konkav oder konvex sein.

The belt 4 provided with a channel 8 corresponding to the smoke channel 1 in the chimney 2 is placed on the chimney 2 and carries the attachment 5.
To secure the attachment 5 in the attached position, the belt 4 has an upwardly directed bead 6, onto which the lower end of the attachment 5 is slipped. In the middle of each side is

which exerts a suction effect on the flue gases and conveys the latter through the openings 11 and 17 on the side remote from the wind. Since the outer upper edge of the slot 7 is lower than the yberlia-nte of the bead 6, it prevents a direct inflow of the 'meanwhile through this slot 7 and mainly deflects the wind.
The overhang of the belt is so large. that it prevents the rising wind currents from entering the smoke channel through the slots 7.
The three parts of the mantelpiece, the belt d, the essay 5 and the cover plate with feet verse are expediently made of ar-mated concrete. The underside of the cover plate could be concave or convex.
