  Appareil à encaustiquer.    La présente invention a pour objet un  appareil à encaustiquer. Le dessin annexé  représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme  d'exécution de cet appareil. La     fig.    1 montre  cet appareil en perspective, la     fig.    2 le détail  du montage du bloc et la     fig.    3 une coupe  par le réservoir à cire. L'appareil comporte  un manche à la partie inférieure duquel est  fixé une pièce en forme de<B>U</B> entre les bran  ches de laquelle est monté de faon à pouvoir  tourner autour de son axe longitudinal le bloc  prismatique 1 dont les faces latérales sont  revêtues de feutre.

   Une vis de blocage 2 sert  à immobiliser le bloc de façon que ses faces  puissent être amenées successivement chacune  en position correcte pour frotter la surface  à encaustiquer. Au-dessus de la pièce en  forme de<B>U</B> est fixé au manche un récipient  à cire liquide 3 comportant à son     extrémité     inférieure un canal d'écoulement 4 fermé par  une bille 5 retenue par un ressort 6. Lors  qu'on donne une secousse au manche, on fait  sauter la bille, ce qui permet à un peu de    cire de s'écouler. Le récipient 3 comporte  une ouverture de remplissage et un capuchon  7 qui se visse, lorsqu'on n'emploie pas la  cire, sur un     ajutage        fileté    traversé par le  canal 4 et dans lequel est logée la bille 5.

The container 3 has a filling opening and a cap 7 which screws, when the wax is not used, onto a threaded nozzle through which the channel 4 passes and in which the ball 5 is housed.
