Method and device for washing up and removing glue and water colors from ceilings and walls. The washing of ceilings and walls of all kinds, as well as the removal of glue and watercolors, etc. has always been done by hand with the help of water and brushes and, if necessary, tools such as spatulas, etc. Since it has to be done by hand, quickly tiring work is involved, the previous method is not only time-consuming, but also expensive.
The subject of the present invention is a method and a device for washing up and removing glue and watercolors on ceilings and walls, by means of which the disadvantages of the known cleaning methods are to be eliminated.
The method according to the invention consists in that a liquid is atomized under pressure onto the surface to be treated and this is then treated by means of at least one motor-driven brush.
According to the invention, the device for carrying out this method is characterized by at least one brush which is set in rotation by a motor and which can be replaced; an atomizer device located in front of it (in terms of the direction of movement of the device) for moistening the surface with a liquid and a collecting device for collecting the material removed from the surface by the brush.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of an apparatus for carrying out the method of the present invention are shown schematically, namely: FIG. 1 is a side view, partially in section, of the first embodiment formed as a handset and FIG. 2 is a plan view of the same, FIG 3 is a side view of the second exemplary embodiment designed as a mobile standing apparatus, FIG. 4 is a larger vertical section through part of the same, and FIG. 5 is a plan view of a file of the same.
while in Fig. 6- a plan view of a detail is ver illustrative.
The embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is an apparatus which is carried by hand in the company and an electric motor 1 which is provided with a handle 2 and a cable (not shown) with a plug contact for connection to a socket , owns. On the motor housing an open top housing is attached, which is used to hold a replaceable roller brush 4, the axis of which is mounted in the housing 3 and which is set ver from the motor by means of a known gear 5 in rotation. The lower part of the housing is ausgebil det as a fold-down container 6, which is used to receive the material removed by the brush from the surface to be treated.
In front of the roller brush 4 a round rod 7 is arranged, the axis of which is extended beyond the housing and carries a roller 8 on each end, the diameter of which is slightly larger than that of the round rod 7, over which and a two th round rod 9 a band 1.0 is placed. On the band 10 is still the free end of a also stored in the housing 3 Abstrei fers 11 at. In front of the belt and outside the housing 3, a pipe 12 with a number of nozzles is arranged, which is connected to a water line, a pressure vessel, etc. by means of a hose (not shown).
The motor 1 is connected to the housing 3 in such a way that the brush 4 can also be used to treat those surface parts which, for example, abut the walls in the case of ceilings.
The application of this device is as follows: The roles 8 and Roller brush 4 are placed on the area to be treated and the apparatus is moved in the direction of the arrow .A (Fix. 1) after switching on the motor 1 and opening the inlet to the pipe 12. The liquid is atomized onto the surface, which is then treated by the roller brush 4 rotating in the indicated sense. The material removed from the latter is caused by the centrifugal forces occurring on the belt, which is set in motion by the rollers 8 set in rotation. is offset, deposited and removed therefrom by the scraper 11, via which it falls into the container 6.
This container can be emptied as required.
This apparatus can also be used, for example, to treat vertical surfaces, such as walls, by moving it vertically from bottom to top, with the motor at the bottom.
The device according to the second exemplary embodiment from FIG. 3 is designed as a stand-alone apparatus. On a mobile stand 13 is a water tank 14, which is in connection with a. Hand pump, which can also be replaced by a mechanical compressor, is arranged. The container 14 is connected via a flexible line 15 to a pipe 16 with a number of upwardly projecting nozzles, which lies horizontally at one end of a shell 17 which is open at the top. A direct, adjustable connection to a pressure line can also be provided.
A height-adjustable tube 13a is inserted in the vertical tube 13 of the stand, which surrounds a spindle 18 which is guided by a wind device 19 and continued in a rod 20 which on a carrier 21 (Fig..3 and 6): ends. Four guide pins 22 are inserted from below into this carrier 21 and a spring 23 is placed on each of them. The free ends of the guide pins are inserted into bores in a second carrier 24 for the shell 17, which carrier rests on the upper ends of the springs 23.
The shell 17 carries two roller brushes 25, 26 and between the same a partition wall 27. On each side of the latter a pipe 28, 28a is arranged with nozzles that let water flow out onto the partition wall 27 and the itself -with the flexible line. < B> 15 is brought into connection by means of a tube 29. The tray bottom has an outflow nozzle 30 (fix. 4) to which a hose 31 is connected, which leads to a container 32 on the rod 20.
The roller brushes are rotated in the direction of the arrow indicated in FIG. 4 by a flexible shaft 33 of an electric motor 34 which is also fastened to the rod 20. The upper part of the rod 20 is bent over the lower frame so that the shell with the brushes 25 and 26 can also be brought close to the walls, for example when treating ceilings. .
The imbalance caused by the one-sided arrangement of the shell 17 is compensated by the appropriate attachment of the electric motor outside the axis of the rod 20, and possibly also by a corresponding arrangement of the container 32.; @ The apparatus described works in the manner described below:
By means of the wind device 19 and by adjusting the tube 13a in the stand 13, the shell 17 is raised until the brushes 25 and 26 rest against the ceiling to be treated, whereupon water from the container 14 through the line 15 the tubes 16, 28, 28a is supplied. From the tube 16 out the area is sprinkled and processed during the movement of the apparatus in the direction of arrow B (Fix. 3) by means of the Bür most 25 and 26, which have been set in rotation by the electric motor 34 via the flexible shaft 33. Any unevenness of the surface to be treated is easily compensated for by the resilient arrangement of the shell 17 and practically all load fluctuations on the motor are prevented as a result.
As a result of the centrifugal forces occurring, the material removed by the brushes from the machined surface is thrown onto the Be tenflächen of the partition wall 27 and rinsed by this through the water flowing out of the pipes 28, 28 a into the bowl. from which it enters the container 32, which is emptied as required.
The brushes in both devices are arranged interchangeably, so that brushes made of wire or bristle material can be used. In the case of the apparatus according to FIG. 3, it is possible, for example, to accommodate a roller brush 25 made of metal wires such as one (26) made of bristles or another material: With the help of the apparatus described, it is possible to clear the surfaces in a much shorter time than before and below to treat with significantly less physical effort: '-
