Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Trisazofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu wert vollen Trisazofarbstoffen gelangt, wenn man die in saurem Medium gebildete Diazoazo- verbindung aus 1 Mol eines 4,4'-Tetrazodi- phenyIs und 1 Mol 1-Amino-8-naphthol-3,6- bezw.-4,6-disulfonsäure alkalisch zunächst mit einer unsulfierten Monodiazoverbindung und zum Schluss mit einem m-Phenylendiamin,
in dem eine Aminogruppe durch einen Alkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Arylsulforest substituiert ist, und in dem ein Wasserstoff der andern Ami- nogruppe durch eine Alkyl- oder substituierte Alkylgruppe ersetzt sein kann, bezw. mit einem Substitutionsprodukt dieser Verbin dungen, vereinigt.
Die so erhältlichen Farbstoffe ziehen auf Baumwolle aus neutralem oder schwachsaurem Bade. Sie besitzen ferner die wertvolle Eigen schaft, Mischgewebe aus den verschiedensten Fasern, beispielsweise Baumwolle, Wolle, Seide und Kunstseide, fasergleich anzufärben. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Trisazo- Farbstoffes. Es ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die in saurem Medium gebildete Diazoazoverbindung aus einem Mol tetrazo- tiertem Benzidin und 1 Mol 1-Amit)o-8-naph- thol-3,
6-disulfor)säure alkalisch zunäcbst mit 1 Mol diazotiertem Anilin und zum Schluss mit 1 Mol 4 - p- Toluolsulfamido-2-toluidin vereinigt. <I>Beispiel:</I> 184 kg-Benzidin werden in üblicher Weise tetrazotiert und mit 341 kg 1-Amirjo-8-naph- thol-3,6-disulfonsäure mineralsauer gekuppelt. Nach beendigter Bildung des Zwischenpro duktes wird dieses weiter mit einer aus 93 kg Anilin hergestellten Diazobenzollösung sodaalkalisch vereinigt.
Nach Verschwinden des Diazobenzols gibt man 186 kg in Wasser gelöstes 4-p-Toluolsulfamido-2-toluidin hinzu. Die Kupplung ist nach kurzer Zeit beendet. Man isoliert den Farbstoff in üblicher Weise. ErfärbtBaumwolle sowohl aus sodaalkalischem, als auch aus schwachsaurem Bade in schwarzen Nuancen von guter Säureechtheit an. Er eignet sich auch vorzüglich zum Färben von Mischgeweben.
