Brennkraftmaschinenanlahe.
Internal combustion engine system. The invention relates to an internal combustion engine system in which the air for flushing and optionally for charging a two-stroke main internal combustion engine is supplied by a conveyor device driven by an auxiliary internal combustion engine and consists in that the conveyor device in the Dimensioned way and is connected to the auxiliary engine in such a way that, in addition to conveying the operating air (flushing,
Charge and supercharging air) for the main internal combustion engine can also take over the charge of the auxiliary internal combustion engine. The air line to the auxiliary internal combustion engine can advantageously be closed off by the air delivery device and can be brought into connection with the outside air.
If the auxiliary internal combustion engine is an injection internal combustion engine, the regulation of the supercharged air to be supplied by the delivery device for the auxiliary internal combustion engine can take place as a function of the fuel pump filling of the auxiliary internal combustion engine.
The regulating element for -those to be delivered by the conveying device of the auxiliary combustion engine; Air can be formed in such a way that supercharging air for the auxiliary internal combustion engine of the delivery device is only taken from a certain load on the auxiliary internal combustion engine.
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing in FIG. 1.
Fig. 2 shows a detail of a control device in section.
For flushing and charging a slow-running two-stroke internal combustion engine 1, a fan 2 is provided, which is driven via a gear 3 by a high-speed, four-stroke auxiliary internal combustion engine 4. The fan 2 sucks in the air from the nozzle 5 and is dimensioned in such a way that, in addition to promoting the operating air for the main engine through the line G, it can also take charge of the auxiliary internal combustion engine.
The air line 7 to the auxiliary internal combustion engine can be shut off from the fan 2 by a control device 8. The inlet line 9 of the auxiliary internal combustion engine 4 is connected to the outside air by a suction nozzle 10 provided with a non-return valve (not shown).
By means of these two devices, the air consumption can be limited accordingly when the load is low, and since the fuel consumption of the entire system is improved.
The control device shown in section in FIG. 2 has a closing element 11 which is moved by a servomotor piston 18 reciprocating in the cylinder 12. The 8ervomotor- piston 18 is controlled by a slide 14, which is supplied with pressure medium, e.g.
B. 01, can lead to each of the two cylinder sides. The piston rod 16 and the slide 14 are connected by a lever 17, which is influenced by the controller 18 via a linkage 19, 20.
Fig. 2 shows the position of the closing element 11 at full load. If the power of the auxiliary internal combustion engine is now reduced, the linkage 19, 20 moves to the right under the influence of the controller 18, the joint 21 first acting as a fulcrum. As a result, the slide goes over 14 to the left. As a result, the left side of the cylinder 12 with the pressure oil line 15 and the right side with the run 22 is connected.
The piston 13 and therewith the closing element 11 move to the right, so that the passage cross-section and thus the amount of supercharging air flowing into the auxiliary internal combustion engine is reduced.
The piston 13 moves until the control element 14 has returned to the final position drawn, so that each position of the regulator 18 corresponds to a certain position of the closing element 11. The regulating device 8 can be actuated in such a way that the closing element 11 only allows supercharging air to enter the inlet line 9 when the auxiliary internal combustion engine is subjected to a certain load. As long as the line 9 is not under excess pressure, fresh air is supplied through the suction nozzle 10.
