Am untern Ende der Abwärtsbewegung der Stange 40 ist die Klinke 56 von dem Absatz an der Stange 40 abgerutscht und gibt diese frei. Nachdem dies geschehen ist, schliessen die Verschlüsse 20 wieder in an sich bekannter Weise, Hebel 21, Stange 40 und der Wägetrichter 14 gehen in ihre höhere Anfangsstellung zurück, wobei die Klappen 16 und 17 geöffnet und der Motor 19 wieder angelassen wird;
Filling machine for bags, in particular valve bags. The invention relates to a machine for filling bulk goods in sacks, in particular in valve sacks. The aim of the invention is that the filling machine delivers precise load weights even when the bulk material is in flour or the like, which is known to clump together during filling in the valve bag. In such cases, too, the bulk material should be filled into the sack in such a way that it is tight and not lumpy and thus completely fills the sack.
The invention consists in that in the machine for filling bulk material in sacks, especially in valve sacks, both a device for weighing the loads to be filled and a further Vorrich device for compressing the weighed bulk material on its way into the sack are provided is.
Further details of the invention will be explained with reference to the drawing which illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the invention. Fig. 1 is a side view of the filling machine with part of the Füllvorricbtung in section, and Fig. 2 is a view from the left in Fig. 1. On a frame 10, a housing 11 is mounted, which contains the weighing device. This latter consists of a hopper 12, in which a circumferential device 13 is attached, which stirs up the material and promotes at the same time.
Furthermore, this weighing device includes a weighing hopper 14, which is mounted on a suitable weighing beam, which is indicated schematically at 15 ge. An inner closing flap 16 and an outer closing flap 17 are attached to the funnel 12, both of which swing around a pin 18, and an electric motor 19 drives the rotating agitator and conveying device 13.
The weighing hopper 14 is provided with a United 20, which is moved and opened by a lever 21, whereby the weighed material is dropped into a filling funnel 22 a. The funnel 22 narrows downwards and ends in a round bottom 23. A horizontal conveyor screw 24, which is driven by a motor 25, works in the funnel. A stirring device 26 is arranged above the conveyor screw 24, the drive shaft of which is moved by the conveyor screw 24 via a gear 27. The diameter of the conveyor screw 24 decreases steadily towards the end 28.
The feed screw 24 protrudes with its end 28 into a filling tube 29, the diameter of which decreases towards its open end in the same way as the diameter of the feed screw. The hopper and the feed screw are appropriately tapered conically. The filling tube can be inserted in a known manner into a sack filling valve 61 of a sack 60 with side gussets 89 and deliver the conveyed material through a cut-out part 30 downwards into the sack 60.
A bag clamp 31 is arranged over the filling tube 29 and is usually held by a spring 32 in the position shown in Fig. 1. A lever 33 is rotatably mounted at 34 and is provided at its other end 35 with a roller by means of which the sack clamp can be brought down into the clamping position if a sack 60 has been pushed over the filling tube 29 with the lever 33 raised .
The lever 33 is connected to an arm 37 of a vibrating shaft 38 through a link 36. Another arm 39 on the same shaft 38 is connected to arm 21 by a link 40. Finally, a third arm 41 is connected to a lever 43 which controls the clutch 44. The driving part of the coupling 44 is provided with a wheel 45 which is connected to a wheel 46 on the shaft of the conveyor screw 24 via a belt or a chain 45 '. The driven part of the coupling 44 is mounted on the shaft 47, on which an eccentric 48 is attached, which is connected to a device 50 via a link 49 with a Schüttelvor.
This latter consists of a carrier 51 for the bag bottom, which is supported by means of a downwardly jumping carrier 52 in a parallel guide 53, which raises and lowers the carrier 51, 52 in the vertical direction.
The bag filling device works in the following way. The flaps 16 and 17 are open and the motor 19 is started after a weighed sack load has fallen out of the funnel 14 and the closure 20 has returned to the closed position.
The now rotating stirring device 13 supports the filling of the bulk material into the weighing funnel 14 until the larger part of a sack load is deposited in it, whereupon the weighing device begins to move downwards, whereupon through the inner flap 16 is swung down and the outlet of the funnel 12 partially closes off in a known manner.
As a result, from now on, a smaller product stream (Feinfüllstrom) from the filling funnel 12 in the weighing funnel 14 over th, until the entire desired load is deposited in the latter. During or towards the end of this refilling, the weighing device continues to move in such a way that the outlet of the funnel 12 is finally closed by the flap 16 and the motor 19 is stopped in a manner known per se.
A valve sack 60 has meanwhile been fastened in the correct position on the filling pipe 28 such that its bottom can rest on the sack carrier 51; the lever 33 is lifted and rotates around the pin 35, whereby its to the right of the pin 35 are the part of the bag clamp 31 presses down on the bag and holds it on the filling tube. The upward movement of the lever 33 pulls the pawl 56, which is rotatably attached to the arm 39 and engages in a shoulder on the rod 40, down via the rod 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, whereby the rod 40 also goes down and the arm 21 rotates downward, whereby the United circuits 20 open at the bottom of the funnel 14 and allow the weighed quantum to fall into the funnel 22.
At the lower end of the downward movement of the rod 40, the pawl 56 has slipped off the shoulder on the rod 40 and releases it. After this has happened, the closures 20 close again in a manner known per se, the lever 21, rod 40 and the weighing hopper 14 return to their higher starting position, the flaps 16 and 17 being opened and the motor 19 being started again;
and the weighing and filling of the contents of a sack in the funnel 14 takes place again in the manner just described. Advantageously, a device is provided by which when closing the flap 16, 17 and stopping the motor 19, an electrical circuit is closed that causes a lamp 55 to glow, which indicates to the operator that a fully weighed load is ready in the container 14 and can be filled into the valve sack.
The motor 25 can run uninterrupted during operation, so that the feed screw 24 immediately begins to fill the weighed load, which reaches the bottom of the filling funnel 22, through the filling pipe into the sack. It is advantageous to taper this conveyor screw and the filling pipe surrounding it in the manner described towards the end when a bulk material similar to flour is to be filled.
Because the bulk material is driven into a narrowing part of the filling pipe, it is compressed and the air present therein is squeezed out, so to speak, so that a given quantity of filling material can be packed in a smaller bag than if the air was not before squeezed out and the loosely lying material would have been compacted. The scraping and conveying device 26 ensures that the bulk material is continuously and correctly fed to the conveying and prelocking screw 24.
By actuating the lever 33, the clutch 44 is closed via the lever 43, handlebar 42, arm 41, etc., whereby the continuously rotating wheel 45 with the shaft 47 a related party and the eccentric 48 is driven, which sets the bag carrier 51 in shaking motion. If compacted flour or the same bulk material is delivered in the sack, such shaking and shaking of the sack is particularly advantageous because it is broken up again by the more or less tightly compressed particles of the bulk material that could fall into the sack and a complete filling of the sack contents with the bulk material is ensured, whereby the desired complete, even and tight filling of the sack is achieved.
With increasing filling of the sack and corresponding emptying of the container 22, the resistance that the filling well opposes to its promotion by the screw 24 also decreases. This decrease in the conveying resistance can be used to actuate a signal, for example to light up a red light that indicates to the operator that the filling of a valve bag is complete and the bag can be removed. The lever 33 is then lowered into the open position shown in the drawing, whereby the clutch 44 is opened and the Rüttelvor direction is stopped.
The same movement of the lever 33 also lifts the pawl 56 and hooks it into the rod 40, so that when the lever 33 is subsequently actuated (lifted) the next load of the funnel 22 is dropped, filled into the sack and shaken again as previously described.
Experience has shown that with such a filling machine shown in the drawing, exact quantities of flour or other similar material can be weighed and filled into sacks, in particular valve sacks, in compressed form, and settle in the latter in such a way that the sack space is fully utilized.
