Process for the production of nisgwire. Are two yarns made of different materials, for example cotton and wool or one of these fabrics with artificial silk, at all. Twisted together with very different surface properties and few twists, so naturally the smoother thread is less slowed down in further processing. It then forms in front of thread guides, when introducing the thread into the loom, even when this material passes through the needles of the knitting chair, jams easily. The rough part of the thread remains and forms loops and knots, which result in malfunctions and defects in the end product.
The subject of the invention is a process for the production of soft twisted mixed twine from yarns with different surface properties, according to which the smooth yarn is overturned in the opposite direction to the twist of the twisted twist to be produced, the effort yarn a relatively weaker twist in the same sense (the twist of the yarn to be produced), whereupon both yarns are twisted together. As a result, the twine afterwards always contains the same length of each yarn per unit of length, which loop around each other evenly and as a result can no longer be stripped from one another by braking that occurs.
To produce such a twist, the following procedure is used, for example: A rayon thread with a smooth surface, which usually has a right-hand twist, is first twisted in the same direction or made with a greater number of twists per unit of length from the start, roughly the same amount than the finished thread should receive twist. The other yarn, cotton or wool, with a rougher surface, must now have the opposite, i.e. left, twist. The same is practically chosen to be about as much smaller as afterwards additional twists in the twisting process in the same sense are added.
When twisting the cotton or wool yarn with left wire when pulling it from the bobbin in a known manner by plush rollers or other braking devices is somewhat held back. It shortens under the left twist that begins when twisting, while the artificial silk thread with right wire untwists at the same time and wraps it tightly around the other thread.
