  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes der     Anthracenr        eihe.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf     ein     Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden  sationsproduktes der     Anthracenreihe,    dadurch  gekennzeichnet,     dass    man     Methylenanthron     mit     ss-Naphtochinon        umsetzt.     



  Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt ein  violettes Kristallpulver mit grüner metallisch  glänzender Oberfläche dar, es löst sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner, in  wässerig alkoholischer Lauge mit blauer  Farbe und liefert mit alkalischer     Hydrosulfit-          lösung    eine rote     Küpe.     



  Es soll als Zwischenprodukt zur Herstel  lung von Farbstoffen Verwendung finden.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10,3 Teile     Methylenanthron    und 16 Teile       ss-Naphtochinon    werden in etwa 100 Teilen  Eisessig am     Rückflusskühler    gekocht. Die  Flüssigkeit färbt sich     zunächst    rot und nach  kurzem Kochen beginnt sich das Kondensa  tionsprodukt in grünlich metallisch glänzen  den Kristallen     abzuscheiden.    Es wird noch so    lange weiter gekocht, als eine Zunahme der       Abscheidung    festzustellen ist. Der Nieder  schlag wird warm von der Flüssigkeit ge  trennt.
