Zehnstuhl.
Ten chair. The invention relates to a chair with a front pivot pivotable, resilient seat frame and the purpose of a peculiar combination between the suspension of the seat frame and the training of the backrest to create a seat that largely adapt to the body shape and tools for installation in vehicles In addition, it can be designed so that it can absorb shocks occurring in the vertical direction and convert them into gentle vibrations.
According to the invention, the seat frame is suspended on the one hand at its rear end and on the other hand at the upper boundary of the abutment of the backrest engaging elastic pulling members. The traction elements that convey the resilience of the seat, such as helical springs, rubber ropes and the like, can move backwards as well as to the side when the seat is loaded and therefore cling to the body shape so that an effect similar to that of a hammock is achieved , only with the difference that there is also the suspension of the tension members.
This we effect can be reinforced if the type of construction according to the invention is used in tubular steel chairs by the train organs attack the top of a non-supported and therefore self-resilient part of the frame. For the seats in vehicles, the rear end of the seat frame can be connected to an underlying part of the frame or the floor by further elastic pulling elements or extensions of the aforementioned, the pulling elements advantageously being pretensioned.
In the drawing, the object of the invention is shown in three exemplary execution forms. Fig. 1 shows a reclining chair with a wooden frame, Fig.2 a tubular steel chair, and Fig. 3 a seat for a vehicle be voted, depending on the diagram, the upholstery being omitted for the sake of clarity. Fig. 4 shows the rear end of a seat frame with modified fastening of the tension members. The corresponding parts are designated with the same letters.
a is the frame of the armchair, b the seat frame pivotable around front pin c and d the cross arm of the frame of the backrest. Tension springs e (Fig. 1 and 2) ver bind the rear part of the seat frame with the cross arm d and thus extend over the entire height of the backrest, where they can easily give way under the pressure of the body and follow the body shape. They thus fulfill their effect as a suspension element for the seat frame, a further function as an extraordinarily adaptable backrest.
In your armchair according to FIG. 2, a and d consist of a piece of steel tube as usual, so that the suspension of the seat frame and the backrest is reinforced by the inherent suspension of part d. The ends of the springs are formed into loops and hung in hooks of parts b, d.
The vehicle seat according to FIGS. 3 and 4 has a wooden frame a with a frame f resting on the floor. On the rear strip of the seat frame, sheet metal fittings g are provided which have holes on the top and bottom protruding tabs. On the one hand, the lower ends of the springs e already described, on the other hand, the upper ends of springs e 'are hung in these holes, which engage the base frame f. By pretensioning the springs e, e ', the seat frame is given a corresponding stability in the rest position.
The vibrations caused by the vertical impact of the vehicle alternately generate additional stresses in both groups of springs and are therefore consumed quickly and yet in an elastic form. The lower ends of the springs e 'can optionally also be attached to any other fixed object, for example directly on the floor of the vehicle. Likewise, the springs can also act indirectly on the seat frame and, for example, be attached to a rod which is pushed through eyelets 1c of the seat frame (FIG. 4).
