La fi-. 1 est une vue en élévation de la première forme d'exécution, le tendeur pro prement dit étant dans la position où il agit au maximum sur le fil; Fig. 2 est une vue en plan correspondante, certaines parties, étant enlevées pour plus de clarté; - - - Fig. 3 est une vue- partielle analogue à la fig. 1, les pièces étant dans la position où le tendeur proprement dit a- une action nulle sur le fil;
Fi. 4 est. une vue en -plan -correspondanté,. semblable à, celle de la fig. 2;.. Fig. 5 est une vue en élévation de la deuxième forme d'exécution, celle-ci compre nant les différents organes que comporte la première forme d'exécution, mais présentant, en plus, -des moyens destinés à provoquer l'ar rêt de la broche lorsque la surtension ne peut être compensée par l'ouverture complète du tendeur;
Sur le support 3 est encore monté un bras 10 portant à son extrémité un galet 11 sur le quel passe le fil en sortant du tendeur avant d'aller à la broche 2. Le bras 10 est monté sur une pièce 12 qui est mobile autour,de son axe 13 et qui occupe normalement la position re présentée sur la fig. 1;
Device for automatic adjustment of the tension of a thread, in particular applicable to winders and bobbins. The present invention relates to a -dispositive automatic adjustment -of the tension of a thread, in particular applicable to winding machines.
This device .is characterized -by a content by pinching -du wire ,. combined with an elastically mounted arm, at the end of which is a roller on which the thread passes when leaving the tensioner itself, the over-tension to which the thread can be accidentally subjected causing the arm to tilt, which causes , by means of a cam, the opening more or less brande .du tensioner, which reduces the tension due to it, in order to compensate for the accidental overvoltage.
In a preferred form of execution (of this -device, when the overvoltage cannot be compensated for by the complete opening @du .leur, a cleat integral with the rocking arm comes to press on a resiliently supported pad, whose displacement, under the action of this jog, releases the clutch lock from the spindle on which the winding is done and which is then no longer driven.
Ira transmission of movement from the buffer to the lock, clutch. Of the spindle is effected by means of a flexible cable, called "Povvden".
The annexed drawing represents, by way of example, two forms of execution of the device according to the invention.
The fi-. 1 is an elevational view of the first embodiment, the tensioner itself being in the position where it acts to the maximum on the wire; Fig. 2 is a corresponding plan view with some parts removed for clarity; - - - Fig. 3 is a partial view similar to FIG. 1, the parts being in the position where the tensioner itself has zero action on the wire;
Fi. 4 is. a corresponding -plan view ,. similar to that of FIG. 2; .. Fig. 5 is an elevational view of the second embodiment, the latter comprising the various members that the first embodiment comprises, but having, in addition, means intended to cause the stopping of the spindle when the overvoltage cannot be compensated by fully opening the tensioner;
Fig. 6 is a corresponding view taken at 90 in FIG. 5; - Fig. 7 is a view similar to FIG. 6 with the parts relating to the winding spindle in a different position, and - Fig. 8 is a detail view corresponding to FIG. 7, but taken at 90 ', from the plane of this figure.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 to 4, the wire comes from a reel -d'aliment tation 1 and winds up on the receiving spindle 2. A support 3 carries a tensioner, acting by pinching the wire. This tensioning member consists of two openwork flaps 4 and 5, in hardened sheet steel or porcelain; the shutter 4 is fixed on the support 3 and the shutter 5 can pivot so as to come closer or less to the shutter 4 (fig. 2 and 4).
It is applied against the fixed shutter 4 by the traction exerted by a cord 7 fixed at 8 on a part integral with the shutter 5 and which, after having passed over a return pulley, carries a weight 9 at its end. be modified and it is varied according to whether one wants to tighten the shutter 5 more or less against the shutter 4, that is to say according to whether one wants to retain more or less a thread which passes between these two shutters , that is to say ultimately, depending on whether we want to give the thread a greater or lesser tension at the time when it is wound on the spindle 2.
On the support 3 is still mounted an arm 10 carrying at its end a roller 11 on which passes the wire leaving the tensioner before going to the spindle 2. The arm 10 is mounted on a part 12 which is movable around, of its axis 13 and which normally occupies the position shown in FIG. 1;
it can rotate in the direction of arrow 12bis., On part 3 is mounted a barrel 14, such as that shown in FIG. 6, around which is wound a spring 15 working in torsion and which constantly recalls the part 12 with the arm 10 in the normal position when no ira-etion is exerted on it. One end of the spring 15 is taken in a knurled head -de the part 14 and the other end is engaged in the part 12 integral with the arm 10, to raise the latter.
The tension of the spring 15 is adjustable owing to the fact that the part 14 can be rotated on its axis, this part then being held in position by means of a fixing screw in the part 3, not shown on the drawing.
Ija piece 12, in its part which is closest to the arm 8, has the form of a cam whose radius increases. When the arm 10 is in its high position shown in FIG. 1, the cam profile of the part 12 does not touch the arm 8 of the movable shutter 5 or at most touches the latter without exerting any thrust (FIG. 2). Consequently, the flap 5 under the action of the weight 9 is applied against the flap 4 and tightens the thread, as mentioned above.
If an overvoltage occurs on the wire, this overvoltage causes, by traction on the deflection roller 11, the lowering of the arm 10 in the direction of the arrow 12a. The cam 12 comes into contact with the arm 8 and pushes the latter gradually (fig. 4): by causing the rotation of the shutter 5 around its axis 6, so that this shutter moves away from the shutter 4 and that the The wire is free from these shutters, that is to say is no longer stretched by them.
With the spring 15 properly adjusted, the arm 7.0 is of course only lowered if, for some reason, the entry of the wire from the supply spool is hampered, which creates additional tension which could be harmful. wire wound.
With the device which has just been described, when this additional tension occurs, the normal tension, due to the flaps 4 and 5 of the tensioner, decreases and appreciably -de the value of the additional tension. A balance is therefore produced and the wire arrives on the winding spindle 2 always with the same tension. If the additional tension decreases, the tensioner flaps 4-5 close and the device continues to function as before.
It may happen in some cases that the abnormal tension is higher than the tension due to the tensioner and that it continues to exist even if the tensioner is completely or green. In the second embodiment, shown in fi-. 5 to 8, this drawback has been remedied as follows: On part 12, and next to arm 10, there is a cleat 16 consisting of a screw passing through a protrusion of part 12 and blocked on this by means of nuts, which makes it possible to adjust the position of the cleat.
Opposite this screw, when the arm 10 is in its lowered position, there is a buffer 17 extended by a rod which slides in a guide 18 integral with the support 3. A spring 19 constantly pushes the buffer 17 upwards. In this tam pon 1.7, which is drilled along its axis, is fixed the end of a steel cable 20 which is guided in a sheath 21, the assembly constituting a flexible transmission -of the Bowden type. The end of the cable 20 is fixed in the buffer 17 by means of a screw 22.
The other end of the cable is fixed to a cylindrical finger 23, for example by hard pipe, and this cylindrical finger is engaged in a guide 24 on which it does not protrude or protrudes very little when no action is taken. 'is exerted on the buffer 17 and that the latter is held in the upper position under the action of the spring 19.
The guide 24 is fixed to a lever 25 mounted on a shaft 26 which rotates freely in its support 27 and which acts directly on the clutch red worm (not shown) of the spindle 2. When the lever 25 is moved in in the direction of arrow 28, the clutch is released and spindle 2 instantly stops rotating.
On the spindle 2 is mounted a cam 29 which turns like the spindle in the direction indicated by the arrow 30. In the normal running position, with the parts as shown in fig. 5, the lever 25 is pushed forward towards the pin 2 by a res out 31.
If the thread is too tight and the thread is still tight after the tensioner flaps 4-5 have been fully opened, the arm 10 continues to drop in the direction of the arrow. 12bis, ta quet 16 comes to bear against the buffer 17 and pushes it back. The spring 19 is compressed, the cable 20 is pushed back into its sheath 21 and the cylindrical finger 23 protrudes outside the guide 24. The finger 23 is then located within the radius of action of the cam 29 which , given its profile, pushes this finger back in the direction of arrow 28 thereby causing the lever 2: 5 to move down around its axis 26.
As we have seen, this rotation causes the release of the clutch lock, and pin 2 stops instantaneously.
As soon as the cause causing the overvoltage of the wire is remedied, the arm 10 returns to its upper position, the spring 19 recalls the cable 20 and, with it, the cylindrical finger 23; pin 2 can then be restarted.
This embodiment therefore ensures the automatic adjustment of the thread tension when this tension varies to a certain extent and, in addition, completely stops the spindle on which the winding of the thread is made when the tension of the thread. - this exceeds a determined limit.
