Description
Verfahren znr Darstellung eines Farbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes, welches darin besteht, dass man 2.3.5-Tri- clilor-6-methyl-1.4-benzocliinon mit 3-Amino- N-äthylcarbazol in Gegenwart eines hoch siedenden Lösungsmittels bei Temperaturen von etwa<B>150-3000</B> C erhitzt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 22,5 Gewichtsteile 2.3.5 - Trichlor - 6 - methyl-l.4-benzochinon und 42 Gewichtsteile 3-Ainino-N-äthylcarbazol werden in 500 Ge wichtsteilen Nitrobenzol mehrere Stunden bei 60--i0 verrührt, danach einige Stunden zum Sieden erhitzt. Das ausgeschiedene Konden sationsprodukt wird mit Nitrobenzol, danach mit Alkohol gewaschen und getrocknet. Es stellt ein kristallinisches Produkt mit metallisch glänzender Oberfläche dar, das sich mit vio letter Farbe in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure löst, die beim Stehen nach grün umschlägt.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff, der sich aus 1 Mol 2.3.5-Trichlor-6-methyl-1.4-benzo- chinon und 2 Mol 3-Amino-N-äthylcarbazo gebildet hat, ist identisch mit dem nach dem Verfahren des Patentes Nr.161231 erhältlichen Farbstoff. Beim Sulfieren in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure oder Chlorsulfonsäure oder Oleum erhält man eine Sulfosäure, die Wolle; Baumwolle oder Seide und gemischte Gewebe in blauen, sehr lichtechten Tönen anfärbt.
