Description

  

      Schwimmhilfsmittel.       Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein  Schwimmhilfsmittel, das zwei an den     Vorder-          armen    abnehmbar zu befestigende Wasser  verdrängungskörper besitzt, die leichter als  das von ihnen verdrängte Wasservolumen  sind, und dadurch das     Schwimmen    und die       Fortbewegung    des Schwimmenden erleich  tern.  



  Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist auf der  Zeichnung in einer beispielsweisen Ausfüh  rungsform dargestellt.  



       Fig.    1 zeigt die rechtsarmige Hälfte des       Schwimmhilfsmittels    in einer perspekti  vischen Ansicht,       Fig.    2 im Schnitt nach der Linie 1-1 der       Fig.    1.  



  An beiden Vorderarmen ist je ein aus  zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Hälften 1       gebildeter        Wasserverdrängungskörper    befe  stigt, wobei die Hälften durch annähernd  halbkreisförmige     Ausnehmungen    2 der Vor  derarmform angepasst sind.

   Die     Ausneh-          mungen    2 in den Körperhälften sind mit    einem weichen, elastischen Material 3 ausge  kleidet, während die     Körperhälften    selbst je  zwei Öffnungen 4     aufweisen,        durch    die die  Verbindungsriemen 5 gezogen sind, mittelst  welcher die beiden Körperhälften gegenein  ander und gegen den     zwischen        ihnen    liegen  den Arm gespannt und an diesem     befestigt     werden können. Der Querschnitt der       Verdrängungskörperhälften    weist annähernd  Dreiecksform auf,     kann    aber auch andere  ähnliche Formen aufweisen.  



  Zur Herstellung der Verdrängungskörper  wird zweckmässig leichtes Holz     verwendet.     Es ist jedoch auch möglich, diese hohl, zum  Beispiel aus Blech, auszuführen, wobei das  Gewicht des durch die Verdrängungskörper  verdrängten Wasservolumens grösser ist als  das Gewicht der     Verdrängungskörper    selbst.  



  Die     Verdrängungskörperhälften    können  auch     scharnierartig    miteinander verbunden  und auf .der dem Scharnier entgegengesetzten  Seite mit einem lösbaren Verschluss versehen  sein.      Die Länge der Verdrängungskörper kann  sich über den ganzen Vorderarm oder nur  einen Teil desselben erstrecken.

       Fig. 1 shows the right-armed half of the swimming aid in a perspekti vischen view, Fig. 2 in section along the line 1-1 of FIG.



  On each of the two forearms, a water displacement body formed from two opposing halves 1 is BEFE Stigt, the halves being adapted by approximately semicircular recesses 2 of the front derarmform.

   The recesses 2 in the body halves are lined with a soft, elastic material 3, while the body halves themselves each have two openings 4 through which the connecting straps 5 are pulled, by means of which the two body halves lie against one another and against the one between them the arm can be stretched and attached to it. The cross section of the displacement body halves has an approximately triangular shape, but can also have other similar shapes.



  Light wood is expediently used to produce the displacement body. However, it is also possible to make them hollow, for example from sheet metal, the weight of the water volume displaced by the displacement body being greater than the weight of the displacement body itself.



  The displacement body halves can also be connected to one another in the manner of a hinge and provided with a releasable lock on the side opposite the hinge. The length of the displacement body can extend over the entire forearm or only part of it.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM Swimming aids, characterized by two water displacement bodies, which can be removed from the forearms and which are lighter than the volume of water they displace and which support swimming and the movement of the swimmer. SUBClaims: 1. Swimming aid according to patent claim, characterized in that the displacement bodies consist of two longitudinal halves which have approximately semicircular recesses at the points of support for the arms.

2. Swimming aid according to claim and dependent claim 1, characterized in that the recesses are clad with a soft, elastic material. Ä. Swimming aid according to patent claim and dependent claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the displacement body halves have an approximately triangular cross-section.

4. Swimming aid according to claim and dependent claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the two displacement body halves can be connected to one another and attached to the arm by means of straps which are passed through holes. Swimming aid according to patent claim and dependent claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the displacement body halves are connected to one another in the manner of a hinge and have a releasable lock on the side opposite the hinge.
