Zur kittlosen Verbindung zwischen Beschlagen und Isolatorkörper wurden bisher die verschiedenartigsten Wege vorgeschlagen. In der Regel wurden besondere Einlagestücke gewählt, welche die Verbindung zwischen den Beschlagen und dem entsprechend ausgebildeten Isolatorkörper besorgen sollten, oder es wurde die Kappe selbst so ausgebildet, daß sie über den Isolatorkopf ίο geschoben werden konnte und durch äußere Auflagen der Form des Isolatorkopfes angepaßt wurde.Until now, the putty-free connection between the fitting and the insulator body suggested the most varied of routes.
