Ski pole handle made of leather.

The invention relates to an improvement on the subject of patent no. 116263
Ski pole handle made of leather by introducing a stiffener into the leather sleeve a. As can be seen from the drawing, the stiffener consists of a knob e turned from wood and a cylindrical cardboard sleeve d. which is glued into the wooden button e. The purpose of this stiffening is to give the leather sleeve a nice round button shape.

The fact that the stick fits into button e gives the leather ski stick handle a firm fit, whereas z. B. bend the rubber handles slightly. The purpose of the cardboard tube d is to give the empty tube a rigid cylindrical shape, and enables it to be designed with exactly internal dimensions. The space between the wooden button and the leather sleeve is stuffed with padding material f. Another improvement to the ski pole handle is the type of attachment of the loop /, which is attached to the inside of the wooden button e by means of a double rivet n. This arrangement ensures that by simply slipping the handle onto the pole, it is already provided with a loop, while in the case of the parent application the loop forms a separate part of the ski pole grip.

This improvement is intended to enable the handle to be easily mounted on the pole, while the hole in the ski pole handle provided in the parent patent often does not correspond to the hole drilled in the pole and enables a wide loop to be pulled through as it should be.

The leather ski pole handle can either be glued on or attached with a thin nail.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
