Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Tubus, insbesondere für Feldstecher mit einer aufvulkanisierten Haut aus Gummi, Kunststoff od. dgl. Beim Aufvulkanisieren einer derartigen Haut trat bisher die Schwierigkeit auf, daß die Naht an einer bestimmten Stelle des Tubus liegen mußte, bei Feldstechern z. B. auf der Seite des Tubus, die dem # Mitteltrieb zugewandt war, weil die Naht an dieser Stelle am wenigsten Angriffen ausgesetzt war, welche z. B. das Lösen der Naht und damit der Gummihaut bewirken konnten. Diese bestimmte Anordnung der Naht wurde beim Zusammenbau der Feldstecher dadurch erzielt, daß die Tuben um ihre Achsen so weit gedreht wurden, bis die Nähte die gewünschten Lagen einnahmen. Derartige Drehungen waren aber nicht unbeschränkt möglich, weil justierfehler auftreten konnten.The invention relates to a tube, in particular for binoculars a vulcanized skin made of rubber, plastic or the like. Die Erfindung sieht deshalb vor, die Naht der Haut so auszubilden, daß sie eine von einer Geraden abweichende Form hat. Eine solche Naht setzt den mechanischen Angriffen einen so großen Widerstand entgegen, daß sie nicht mehr an geschützten Stellen zu liegen bzaucht. Außerdem hat sich gezeigt, daß eine solche Naht im Gegensatz zu den bisherigen Nähten so gut wie gar nicht sichtbar ist, so daß durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung ein lange gehegter Wunsch, nämlich die Naht unsichtbar zu gestalten, erfüllt wird.
