  Verfahren zur Darstellung des     Benzoesäureesters    der     2-Glykolylaminobenzol-l-          arsinsäure.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung des     Benzoe-          säureesters    der     2-(llykolylaminöbenzol-l-arsiu-          säure,    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,  dass man     2-Aminobenzol-1-arsinsäure    mit       Berizoylglykolsäui-eehlorid    umsetzt:  Das neue Verfahrensprodukt bildet aus  Wasser     umkristallisierbare    Nadeln;

   F.183 bis  185   C, und zeichnet sich bei geringer     Toxi-          zität    durch sehr gute Wirkung speziell bei       Trypanosomenkrankheiten    aus.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  21,7     gr        2-Aininobenzol-l-arsirisäure    werden  in 200     cms        n-Natronlauge    gelöst, die     Lösung     auf 0   C abgekühlt und 22     gr        Benzoylglykol-          säurechlorid        zutropfen    gelassen. Während der  Umsetzung hält man mit etwa GO     cm3        2-n-          Natronlauge    alkalisch. Auf Zugabe von Salz  säure scheidet sich die 2-(Benzoylglykolyl)-         aminobenzol-l-arsinsäure    ab, die aus Wasser  umkristallisiert in feinen Nadeln erhalten  wird.

   Ausbeute 25     gr    Nadeln, aus Wasser       umkristallisierbar,    F. 183-185   C.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung des Benzoe- säureesters der 2-Cxlykolylaminobenzol-l-ar-siri- säure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2- Aminobenzol-l-ai-sinsäure mit Benzoylglykolyi- säurechlorid umsetzt. Das neue Verfahrensprodukt bildet aus Wasser umkristallisierbare Nadeln, F. 183 bis 185 C, und zeichnet sich bei geringer Toxi- zität durch sehr gute Wirkung speziell bei Trypanosomenkrankheiten aus.
