Schalteinrichtung an elektrischen Wechselstromlokomotiven.
Switching device on electric AC locomotives. The present invention relates to a switching device on electric alternating current locomotives, in which the contact elements switching the transformer taps are electrically connected to one another in groups and the aim is that these switching elements can be operated at the transformer taps without any voltage or current.
To achieve this, the device of the invention is designed in such a way that each group of contact elements is directly connected to one during the switchover. The spark switch to be opened is connected within the group and can be connected to one end of an equalizing reactor via this spark switch.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the switching device, namely Fig. 1 shows the circuit diagram.
In Fig. 1, a is the transformer, while 1-11 respectively. I-XI are the contacts of the individual transformer taps; c and d represent the transfer throttle coils, e is a compensating throttle coil between the two transfer throttles; with f the drive motor or several drive motors connected in parallel are indicated. Resistors g and h are also provided, which can be connected in parallel to the equalizing inductors by means of the spark holders C and F.
The main spark switches are labeled A and B, and D and E, while T means an isolating contactor or a group of several isolating contactors, depending on the number the parallel-connected drive motors. The cam switch mechanism as such is not shown in particular. since it can be carried out in the usual union known manner.
Levels 1, 2 and 3, in which only one resp. two or three switching elements on the transformer are closed, are pre-stages. The remaining speed stages from 4 onwards are main stages on which you can drive continuously with full amperage. At these main stages, only a quarter of the total current is applied to each switching element.
The transition from main speed step 4 to speed step 5 takes place as follows with this switching device: On step 4, contactors 1 and 2, as well as I and II are closed, furthermore the isolating contactor T and all four main spark contacts < I> A, B, D, E. At level 5, contactor 1 should be open, contactor 3 should be closed, while the other contactors are in the operating position at level 4.
So that the contactors 1 and 3 are now de-energized, the first. Transition stage initially the spark contact C closed and thus, the resistance stood g parallel to the switching inductor c placed ge. At the following transition stage, spark contact A is opened; the switching element 1 can now be opened completely free of voltage and current during the further transition.
On the then following transition stage, the switching element 3, ge closed, is also. Completely free of voltage and current, then the spark contact A is closed again, then by opening C the parallel connection of the resistor g to the switching choke coil c is opened and thus the next main gear 5 is established.
Instead of the parallel. In addition to the switching choke coil c, resistors g to be switched can also be used on the main spark contacts. Here, four transition resistors are provided corresponding to the four main spark contacts A, B, D, E, which are first switched on and then short-circuited in the lead to the choke with a two-pole design of the spark contacts. The resistance g with its associated spark contact C is then omitted.
The transformer switching elements and the spark contacts are actuated by camshafts, which are connected to one another by means of an intermediate gear so that while the main switching drum is running with contacts 1-11 and 1-XI from zero to 22nd speed, turned the second camshaft for the spark switch AF 51 / r times.
In order to be able to interrupt the circuit from a higher speed level without having to operate all the spark switches under current and voltage, the spark switches can be designed so that they can be opened at any time regardless of the position of their cam roller.
With this circuit there are only half as many transformer taps as. Switching elements specified required. Since they are safely switched without current or voltage, these switching elements are not subject to any wear and tear, and by connecting the resistors g and h in parallel to the switching chokes c and d, harmful overvoltage phenomena on the switching chokes are avoided during the switching process.
It is precisely these overvoltages, which occur without the parallel connection of balancing resistors in transition inductors, that stress: the spark contacts are extremely strong, so that avoiding overvoltages results in a considerably longer service life of the spark switches that are otherwise only in small numbers.
The switching elements and spark arresters combined to form cam switches can be driven manually or by a motor.
In Fig. 2 is in each lead of the equalizing choke coil c respectively. d a transition resistor is switched on. This resistance is bridged by a switch which is closed after the spark switch is closed, so that the resistor placed in the supply line is short-circuited.
