Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen schwefelhaltigen Derivates eines höheren allphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen schwe felhaltigen Derivates eines höheren aliphati- schen Kohlenwasserstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man ein durch Einführung von 35 Teilen Chlor in 37 Teile Paraffinöl er hältliches Chlorparaffinöl mit einem Alkali tetrasulfid erhitzt.
Das neue Schwefelungsprodukt stellt ein chlorhaltiges, ungesättigtes, stark schwefel haltiges, dünnflüssiges Öl dar. Es soll textile und pharmazeutische Verwendung finden. Es stellt ferner ein geeignetes Zwischenprodukt für die Herstellung von neuen wertvollen Hilfsprodukten zum Beispiel der Färberei dar. <I>Beispiel:</I> 72 Teile eines durch Einführung von 35 Teilen Chlor in 37 Teile Paraffinöl er hältlichen Chlorparaffinöls werden mit einer Mischung von 80 Teilen Natriumtetrasulfid in 2f;0 Teilen Alkohol und 250 Teilen Wasser mehrere Stunden im Autoklaven auf 200 bis 210 unter Rühren erhitzt.
Nach dem Er kalten wird das erhaltene Öl von der Salz säure getrennt, gewaschen und durch Um lösen aus einem organischen Lösungsmittel weiter gereinigt. Man erhält ein noch chlor haltiges, ungesättigtes, stark schwefelhaltiges, dünnflüssiges Öl.
Zu einem gleichen Ergebnis gelangt man, wenn man die Schwefelung durch Erhitzen mit der gleichen Menge fein pulverisiertem Natriumtetrasulfid ohne Zusatz eines Ver dünnungsmittels auf 170-180 mehrere Stunden im Ölbad durchführt.
Eine besonders glatte Umsetzung tritt ein, wenn man die gleiche Menge des Aus gangsproduktes mit einer Mischung von 50 Teilen Natriumtetrasulfid und 40 Teilen galiumsulfhydrat unter Zusatz von etwa 300 Teilen Alkohol mehrere Stunden im Autoklaven auf 180-190 unter Rühren erhitzt.
