Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung einer Doppelverbindung der Pyizdinreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einer Doppelverbindung der Pyridinreihe gelangen kann, wenn man 1 Mol Nicotinsäureäthylester auf 1 Mol Calciumchlorid einwirken lässt. Die Reaktion kann in An- oder in Abwesenheit eines Lösungsmittels ausgeführt werden.
Die neue Doppelverbindung bildet weisse Kristalle. Sie ist in Alkohol löslich, schwer löslich in Essigäther und unlöslich in Aceton.
Das neue Produkt soll sowohl zur Ab scheidung und Reinigung der zu Grunde lie genden Pyridinverbindung, wie auch zu the rapeutischen Zwecken Verwendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 151 Teile Nicotinsäureäthylester werden zu einer Lösung von 111 Teilen Calcium- chlorid in 500 Teilen Alkohol gegeben. Nach kurzem Erwärmen kristallisiert die neue Doppelverbindung aus.
Process for the preparation of a double compound of the pyizdine series. It has been found that a double compound of the pyridine series can be obtained if 1 mol of ethyl nicotinate is allowed to act on 1 mol of calcium chloride. The reaction can be carried out in the presence or in the absence of a solvent.
The new double compound forms white crystals. It is soluble in alcohol, sparingly soluble in vinegar and insoluble in acetone.
The new product is intended to be used both for separating and cleaning the underlying pyridine compound, as well as for therapeutic purposes.
<I> Example: </I> 151 parts of ethyl nicotinate are added to a solution of 111 parts of calcium chloride in 500 parts of alcohol. The new double compound crystallizes out after brief heating.
