Die Magnetspulen 16, 11 der Stufenschütze S,-S' liegen unter Vorschaltung der .Steuerstromwiderstände D während des gesamten Anlassvorganges, das heisst solange das Steuerstromschütz I ge- schlossen ist, durch ,die Leitungen 100, 111 an der Netzleitung P,;
-In der -beigefügten Zeichnung zum Beispiel dienen hierzu kleine Drehstrom- masebinen XII, deren drehbar angeordnetes Gehäuse an das Leitnetz R, <B><I>8</I></B><I>,
Automatic device for successive starting of different engines, especially those of Nehrmotorenottrieb. Various working machines, which consist of several groups, each driven by a special motor, for example paper machines, work uninterruptedly day and night. The partial drive motors therefore only need to be started when starting the machine and occasionally after disturbances in the work process.
In the case of the paper machine in particular, the telescopic drive motors are never left at the same time, but rather individually in any order, as required. In order to save on starting equipment, as well as to enable operation from the driver's side of the paper machine by pressing a button, it has already been proposed for. all partial drive motors to use a common starting device.
Carrying out this task is made more difficult by the requirement that it must be possible to start the partial drive motors while the mains voltage varies within wide limits and that the performance of the individual partial drive motors is very different. When starting, as is well known, care must be taken that when the starting resistor is gradually short-circuited, the permissible peak starting current is not exceeded.
The controls proposed so far for the task at hand work either as a function of the load, for example by assigning a separate current monitor to each of the resistance contactors, or as a function of time. There is a switching technology that is particularly simple execution of the time-dependent control known, in which the short-circuiting of the individual resistance stages is carried out by a single time relay that switches on the contactors one after the other in an adjustable time as required.
The start-up conditions cannot be perfectly met with any of the aforementioned contactor controls. As he already mentioned, the required drive power of the individual drive groups and the armature voltage, 'at which the partial drive motors must be started, are very different. In the case of load-dependent control, the current monitors are set to limit a certain starting current.
At most, the starting current of the largest partial drive motors can be limited with certainty, while the motors of lower power controlled by the same starting device are not or only insufficiently protected during start-up and can therefore be easily overloaded.
The time-dependent control is similarly imperfect, because the switching time of the time relay is set in such a way that there is no overload when the largest partial drive motors are started at the highest armature voltage. To start with a low armature voltage, these motors needed a significantly shorter time, taking into account the permissible starting current.
Even with the same power of the partial drive motors, the required starting time can be very different because the inertia of the groups of the working machine to be driven by them is very different to the large.
The above-mentioned deficiencies of the previously known starting devices are to be remedied according to the present invention in that a means is automatically switched into the excitation circuit of the current monitor, which is adapted to the motor to be started, for the purpose of the starting device for starting motors with ver to be able to use different operating conditions.
As a result, the gradual short-circuiting of the starting resistor can be monitored by a single current monitor which, depending on the size of the particular motor to be started, reduces the start-up peak current to that permitted for this motor; Limited value. A further simplification can be achieved through partial time dependency, preferably by arranging a time dependent auxiliary relay.
If one of the motors to be started has reached its final speed before all resistance levels are short-circuited and the current monitor is no longer working, this relay closes the remaining resistance levels in quick succession, whereupon the started motor is switched over to the power network and the start-up device is enabled for the other drives.
With .the device can not only be started engines that belong to the same multi-engine drive, but also those that drive different machines.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. The armature AB of the partial drive motors X are fed with direct current from the power network P1, <I> N, </I> during normal operation, the voltage of which is supplied by a common to all motors, not shown for the sake of simplicity, control unit in Leopard or Connection and counter connection can be regulated within wide limits.
The excitation current of the field windings J-K of the partial drive motors as well as the entire control current is taken from the excitation network P2, N_, the voltage of which is constant. The common starting device IV is used to start the partial drive motors, the resistance stages R, .- R, being short-circuited one after the other by the stages contactors s @ -s ".
The start of one of the partial drive motors is initiated by closing the associated start button V once and is then completely automatic.
I is a control current contactor which switches the circuit for the step contactors and which picks up after a delay; II is a common current monitor, III is a time-dependent auxiliary relay that starts immediately, interrupts its own circuit and drops out with a delay (jogging relay) VI are the starting contactors; VII are the measuring resistors connected to the armature circuits concerned when starting, VIII the main contactors.
The switching operations that occur here are explained in more detail below.
Closing one of the switch-on pushbuttons only triggers the starting process when all starting contactors are in the idle state. Then the control current leads from the excitation network P_ through the line 100 via the contact 1, 2 of the control current contactor I, line 101 to the contact 5, 6 of the switch on pushbutton V, through line 103, the coil 6, 7 of the starting contactor VI,
the line 106 to the power line N2. This closes the relevant starting contactor VI, which connects the associated partial drive motor via the main contact R6, <I> W, </I> to the busbar R, to which the terminal RE of the last stage of the starting resistor is permanently connected . The armature terminal B of the partial drive motors is permanently connected to the network N. The armature circuit is now closed.
The armature current runs from the network P, via the terminal Bi of the first stage of the starting resistor IV, through the entire starting resistor R, -R, via the busbar Re, the main contact Re, W, of the contactor VI, the measuring resistor VII, the armature <I> A, B </I> of the motor X to the network N ,.
After releasing the pressed switch-on push button V, the starting contactor in question is kept closed by an auxiliary contact 8, 9. The control current of the contactor coil 6, 7 of the contactor VI runs from the network P._ through the lines 100, 104 via the contact 1, 8 of the switch-off push button IX, further on the line 105, the auxiliary contacts 8, 9, on Contactor VI and 9.6 on main contactor VIII to coil 6,
7 of the contactor VI and then through the line 106 to the network N2. The contactor remains closed until its control current is later interrupted when the main contactor VIII closes by its auxiliary contact 9, 6.
The starting device works as follows: After the associated starting contactor VI is closed by closing one of the switch-on pushbuttons V, the coil 10, 11 of the control current contactor I is excited by its auxiliary contact 8, 10 in the following way:
From network P2 via line 100, contact 1 of control current contactor I, line 104 via contact 1, 8 of switch-off pushbutton IX, contact 8, 10 of starter contactor VI, line 109, coil 10, 11 of control current contactor I, the line <B> 110 </B> to the power line N2. The contactor picks up with a delay, interrupting the contacts 1, 2, from which the line <B> 101 </B> leads to the switch-on pushbuttons V,
so that pressing the switch-on button V has no effect and closes the contact 1, 3, which now initiates the automatic short-circuiting of the starting resistor Bi-R. In the meantime, the first peak start-up current that occurred when starting contactor VI was closed has subsided.
The main current coil R6, 4 of the current monitor II is connected in parallel with the measuring resistor VII, which is in series with the starting resistor and the motor armature.
The terminal WZ is namely connected to the auxiliary contact Wz, <I> 4 </I> of the starting contactor VI and busbar I with the terminal 4 of the current monitor II, while the terminal Wi via, the Tlaizptkontakt of the contactor VI and the busbar R "is connected to the terminal RB of the current monitor.
The main current coil R6, 4 of the current monitor keeps the contact 3, 12 open until the starting current has subsided. Then the magnetic core of the current monitor falls off and closes a circuit that is supplied by the network P, through the line 100, the contact 1, 3 of the control current contactor I, the line 111. the contacts 3, 12 of the current monitor III and 12, 13 of the auxiliary relay III and the blocking contact 1.5, 16, the solenoid 16, 11 of the first step contactor 81, the line 110 to the power line N, leads.
The magnet coils 16, 11 of the step contactors S, -S 'are connected upstream of the .Control current resistors D during the entire starting process, that is, as long as the control current contactor I is closed, through the lines 100, 111 to the power line P ,;
therefore they all have a certain pre-excitation. The control current flowing through the resistors D and the magnet coils 16, 11 is sufficient to keep the contactors closed after they have been switched on, but is not so strong that it can close the contactors.
The successive closing of the contactors Si-S is therefore carried out by a short current pulse in each case, which when the current monitor II drops through the contact 3, 12 via the contact 12 @, 13 of the auxiliary relay III and the blocking contact 15, 16 initially to terminal 16 of the Solenoid of the first control current contactor is conducted.
After the first step contactor S, is closed, its blocking contact 15, 16 is interrupted and the contactor is interrupted by the flowing via the lines 100, 111 and the control current resistor D in the way described above. Current kept. Through the auxiliary contact 13, 15 on the contactor 8l, which is now closed, the switching of the next step contactor 82 is prepared.
The step contactor 8, must be prevented from starting before the acceleration current surge resulting from short-circuiting the resistance stage R1, R "has subsided.
If this no longer occurs quickly and the contact 3, 12 of the current monitor II does not open before the contactor 8 can start, the contactors S2-8 would easily be able to start partially or completely in quick succession; as long as this is not prevented by the resulting rise in armature current, which attracts the current monitor II.
For this purpose, @ through the contact 3, 12 of the current monitor II each time the latter drops out, only a short further switching pulse via the contact 13, 15,. Of the precursor contactor via the contact 15, 16 to the magnet coil of the next contactor ge. This impulse must not last longer than until the stage to be switched on needs contactor to tighten.
In any case, the pulse must already be interrupted when the contact 13, 15 of the contactor to be switched on closes so that the pulse cannot reach the next contactor.
To do this, the pulse produced by the contact 3, 12 of the current monitor 1I is passed to the next step contactor at the same time via the contact 12, 14 to the coil 14, 11 of the auxiliary relay III, the contact 12, 13 of which sends the pulse to the contactors interrupts, while the auxiliary relay III switches itself off through the contact 12, 14.
The auxiliary relay is expediently designed with a one-sided delay, in such a way that it starts up without delay and drops out with a short, adjustable delay, for example up to about 11/2 seconds. Due to the delayed release of the auxiliary relay, a certain time is gained in which the acceleration current surge occurring when short-circuiting each of the resistance stages through the main current coil RE, 4 can attract the current monitor.
In addition to the main current winding RE, 4, the current monitor II can have an additional secondary winding 11, 14 which gives the current monitor a certain pre-excitation and supports the main current coil each time one of the resistance levels is short-circuited.
As soon as the auxiliary relay III kicks in, the shunt winding of the current monitor II is interrupted, so that its armature is only held by the main current winding Re, 4 until it drops again when the acceleration current pulse subsides.
If the motor starts up so easily that, for example, it has reached its final speed after short-circuiting the third resistance level, or if there is no appreciable acceleration current surge when the last resistance level is short-circuited, the current monitor no longer responds. The contact 12, 13 would then remain permanently closed and the auxiliary relay would remain permanently attracted if it were not interrupted by the contact 12, 14 itself.
As it is, however, the auxiliary relay works automatically when the current monitor remains inoperative by being switched on and off alternately via contacts 12, 14. Each time the con tacts 1.2, 13 are closed, the auxiliary relay then switches the remaining tap changers up to the Sohütz St; one after the other.
After the entire starting resistance has been short-circuited by the contactors 8l-8, the relevant sub-motor can be actively switched from the starting device to the power network.
The over-circuit takes place automatically in that when the last step contactor S3 closes through the contact 3, 1,2 of the current monitor II, the contact 12, 13 of the auxiliary relay III, the contact 13, 17 of the step contactor S "through the line <B > 108 </B> and via the auxiliary contact 17, 18 of the starting contactor VI a switch-on pulse for the coil 18,
19 of the main contactor VIII is directed. The circuit then runs from terminal 19 via lines 107 and 10,6 to power line N ,. As a result, the main # 4ehütz VIII starts and is then kept closed via the line 104, the contact 1, 8 of the switch-off push button IX, the line 105 and the auxiliary contact 8, 18.
At the same time, when the main contactor VIII starts, the auxiliary contacts 6, 9 and thus the control current of the starting contactor VI are interrupted. This is triggered as a result and interrupts through its auxiliary contact 8, 10 the control current flowing through the line 109 of the solenoid coil 10, 11 of the control current contactor I.
In this case, the contacts 1, 3 of the control current contactor are interrupted, which thus switches off all step contactors, the current monitor II and the auxiliary relay III. The starting device is now available again for starting one of the other partial drive motors.
A particular advantage of the device described is, as already mentioned, that the current monitor to limit the start-up peak current or acceleration current surge is excited by means of a resistor which is adapted to the output of the respective part of the drive motor to be started.
Since several of the sub-drive motors of a multi-motor drive are often of the same size and also have approximately the same load, savings can be achieved by using a common measuring resistor VII 'for them, as shown, for example, for the last three sub-drives in the drawing is.
Each of the partial drive motors X can be switched off by means of the associated switch-off pushbutton IX during normal operation as well as during the start-up. The control current of the starter contactor VI, which carries the line 105, is interrupted by the contact 1, 8 of the push button IX.
As already described in detail in the preceding, the control current contactor I and thus the starting device is switched off by the fall of the starting device. In the continuous operating state, the circuit for the coil 18, 19 of the main contactor VIII is interrupted by pressing the push button IX.
If all partial drive motors are to be suddenly stopped at the same time, then switch XIV located in line 100 going out from network P2 is opened. It can either be a push button or a special remote switch. Several switches of this type are arranged in a manner known per se in a serial connection at different points - the work machine or the operating room.
It can now happen under certain circumstances that a machine, for example after a long standstill, requires a particularly high tightening torque for which the measuring resistor VII is not set. In this case, since the current does not decrease sufficiently, the current monitor would not drop out and the drive in question would not start at all, since the current monitor continuously keeps its contacts 3, 12 interrupted.
To .this difficulty to be raised, push buttons XV are proposed for each motor, through which you can bridge the contacts 3, 12, as can be seen directly from the drawing.
The synchronization of the partial drive motors is preferably monitored as a function of a common master speed by means of known mechanical or electrical differential gears. -In the accompanying drawing, for example, small three-phase masebines XII, whose rotatable housing is connected to the control network R, <B><I>8</I></B> <I>,
T </I> is connected, while the rotor with pronounced pulleys is driven by the assigned partial drive motor X with the interposition of a small, continuously variable transmission gear XI, for example a regulating pulley belt drive:
becomes. If the angular speed of the rotor differs from that of the rotating field, the resulting rotary movement of the housing causes the with this. connected field controller XIII adjusted and the synchronization disturbance compensated.
In the described device, the synchronization control is also switched on automatically after one of the partial drive motors has been started by the fact that when the relevant main contactor VIII closes its contacts S, T% and R, U, the housing of the regulator machine XII is wound with the Control network R, S,
T connect. Likewise, when the main contactors VIII are triggered, the control machines XII are switched off.
