Einrichtung an Staubsaugern. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Einrichtung an Staubsaugern, bei wel cher Mittel vorgesehen sind, die ein freies Drehen und leichtes Lösen des Schlauches vom Gehäuse ermöglichen.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der bei liegenden Zeichnung beispielsweise in meh reren Ausführungsformen dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Seitenansicht eines mit der Einrichtung ausgestatteten Staubsaugers, teilweise im Schnitt; Fig. 2, 3, 4 und 5 zeigen je eine Aus führungsform der Einrichtung in grösserem Massstab.
In der Zeichnung bedeutet 10 einen Staub sauger, der mit verhältnismässig grossen Saug- und Blasöffnungen 11 bezw. 12 aus geführt ist. Diese Öffnungen sind mit Ge winde versehen und dienen zur Aufnahme eines ebenfalls mit Gewinde versehenen Pfropfens 13, der entweder in der Saug öffnung oder auch in der Blasöffnung an- gebracht werden kann. Der Pfropfen 13 ist zur leichteren Handhabung an der Aussen seite mit Rillen 14 versehen und kann ge gebenenfalls aus dielektrischem Material, bei spielsweise Kunstharz, hergestellt sein.
Bei der Ausführungsform gemäss Fig. 2 ist der Pfropfen, der an den Staubsauger an gebracht wird, mit einer zentralen Öffnung versehen, die mit einem Gewinde 15 versehen ist. In diese Öffnung wird ein zweckmässig aus Aluminium gegossenes Anschlussstück 16 eingeschraubt. Zwecks leichter Handhabung des Anschlussstückes 16 ist auch dieses mit Rillen 17 ausgerüstet.. Der Pfropfen 13 hat vorn eine Stirnfläche 18, gegen welche ein entsprechend ausgebildeter Bund des An schlussstückes anliegt. In dem Anschluss- stück 16 ist ein rohrförmiges Verbindungs stück 19 drehbar gelagert.
An dieses Ver bindungsstück ist die aus der Fig. 1 ersicht liche Saug- oder Blasleitung 20 fest oder durch eine lösbare Verbindung angeschlossen. Um eine Achsialverschiebung des Verbin dungsstückes 19 in dem Anschlussstück 16 zu verhindern, ist einerseits am rechten Ende des Teils 19 ein Ring 21 aufgeschrumpft, der gegen die hintere Stirnfläche des Teils 16 anliegt und im Umfangssinn gleiten kann, und anderseits der Teil 19 mit einer Erwei terung 22 versehen, die gegen die vordere Stirnfläche .des Teils 16 anliegt.
Um eine Dichtung zwischen den Teilen 16 und 19 herbeizuführen, ist ein Dichtungszylinder 23 aus Filz oder ähnlichem Werkstoff vor gesehen, wobei das Anschlussstück 16 zu die sem Zweck mit einer entsprechend zylin drisch geformten Ausnehmung 24 ausgebil det ist.
Die in Fig. 3 gezeigte Ausführungsform unterscheidet sich von der vorbeschriebenen dadurch, dass der Pfropfen 13 am hintern Ende mit einem Flansch 25 ausgebildet ist, gegen den der Ring 21 anliegt. Die Ab messungen bei dieser Konstruktion sind der art gewählt, dass, wenn der Bund des An schlussstückes 16 gegen .die vordere Stirn fläche 18 des Pfropfens 13 anliegt, der Ring 21 zwischen der hintern Stirnfläche des Anschlussstückes und dem Flansch 25 ge nügend Bewegungsfreiheit hat, um mit dem Verbindungsstück 19 - gedreht werden zu können.
Die Erweiterung -22 liegt hier nicht gegen das Vorderende .des Anschlussstückes an, sondern gegen den Filzzylinder. Es ist. also bei dieser Konstruktion nur eine Steue rung in achsialer Richtung für das Verbin dungsstück 19 vorgesehen, nämlich der Ring 21. In Fig. 4 ist eine Konstruktion gezeigt, bei .der das Anschlussstück 16 mit dem Pfropfen 13 durch einen Bajonettverschluss verbunden wird.
Zu diesem Zweck ist das Anschlussstück 16 mit einem Führungsstift 26 versehen, der beim Anbringen des An schlussstückes in einer in dem Pfropfen 13 ausgebildeten Nut 27 gleitet, und beim Drehen des Teils 16 an .der schraubenförmig #ausgebildeten hintern Stirnfläche 28 des Pfropfens 13 entlanggleitet. Bei .dieser Drehbewegung des Anschlussstückes wird ein an demselben angebrachter Dichtungs ring 29 gegen das Vorderende des Pfropfens 18 fest angezogen und hierdurch eine Dich tung zwischen den Teilen 13 und 16 herbei geführt.
Die Achsialsteuerung des Verbin dungsstückes 19 besteht hier aus einem mit dem Anschlussstück 16 fest verbundenen Ring 30, der zwischen einer Erweiterung 3l und einem mit dem Teil 19 fest verbun denen Ring 32 eingreift.
Auch bei dieser Konstruktion ist zwi schen den Teilen 16 und 19 ein Filzzylinder 23 vorgesehen. Das rechte Ende des Ver bindungsstückes 19 ist mit einem auf geschrumpften Ring 33 versehen, der den Filzzylinder 23 in der Lage hält, und gleichzeitig das Verbindungsstück gegen Kippbewegungen sichert.
Die in Fig.5 dargestellte Konstruktion unterscheidet sich insofern von der vorher gehenden, als hier das Verbindungsstück 19 selbst in dem als Anschlussstück dienenden, abnehmbaren Pfropfen 13 drehbar gelagert ist. An der Innenseite des Teils 19 ist eine Blattfeder 34 vorgesehen. Das eine Ende der Feder ist durch eine Niete 35 an der Rohr wand befestigt, wogegen das andere Ende derselben mit einem Führungsstift 36 ver bunden ist. Zur Betätigung der Feder ist ein Knopf 87 mit demselben verbunden. So wohl der Stift 36, als auch der Knopf 37 durchdringen in der Wandung des Teils 19 vorgesehene Öffnungen 3,8 bezw. 39.
Beim Anbringen des Verbindungsstückes 19 in dem Pfropfen 13 wird der Knopf 37 ein wärts gedrückt und das innere Ende des Rohres in die Öffnung 40 des Pfropfens 13 eingeführt, bis eine in dem Verbindungs stück 19 ausgebildete Ausbauchung 41 gegen das entsprechend ausgebildete Vorderende des Pfropfens 13 anstösst. Sobald der Knopf 37 losgelassen wird, greift der Stift 36 hin ter die hintere Stirnfläche 42 des Pfropfens 13 und verriegelt dadurch das Verbindungs stück gegen achsiale Bewegung. Auf diese Weise ist der Schlauch mit dem Staubsauger durch einen federnden Schnappriegelver- ;chluss drehbar verbunden.
Beim Verdrehen les Verbindungsstückes gleitet der Stift 36 tn dieser ringförmigen Fläche 42 entlang. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass die zwischen ler Ausbauchung 41 und dem entsprechend ;eformten, das heisst mit einer Abschrägung versehenen Vorderende des Pfropfens 13 her beigeführte Dichtung vollständig ausreicht.

In the drawing, 10 denotes a vacuum cleaner that has relatively large suction and blowing openings 11 BEZW. 12 is performed. These openings are provided with threads and serve to receive a plug 13, likewise provided with a thread, which can be attached either in the suction opening or also in the blow opening. The plug 13 is provided on the outside with grooves 14 for easier handling and can optionally be made of dielectric material, for example synthetic resin.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the plug which is attached to the vacuum cleaner is provided with a central opening which is provided with a thread 15. A connection piece 16 suitably cast from aluminum is screwed into this opening. For the purpose of easier handling of the connection piece 16, this is also equipped with grooves 17. The plug 13 has an end face 18 at the front, against which a correspondingly formed collar of the connection piece rests. A tubular connecting piece 19 is rotatably mounted in the connecting piece 16.

In order to prevent axial displacement of the connec tion piece 19 in the connector 16, a ring 21 is shrunk on on the one hand at the right end of the part 19, which rests against the rear end face of the part 16 and can slide in the circumferential sense, and on the other hand the part 19 with an extension sion 22 provided, which rests against the front face .des part 16.
To bring about a seal between the parts 16 and 19, a sealing cylinder 23 made of felt or similar material is seen before, the connector 16 for this purpose with a corresponding cylin drical recess 24 is ausgebil det.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 3 differs from the one described above in that the plug 13 is formed at the rear end with a flange 25 against which the ring 21 rests. The dimensions of this construction are chosen so that when the collar of the connector 16 rests against the front face 18 of the plug 13, the ring 21 between the rear face of the connector and the flange 25 has sufficient freedom of movement. to be able to rotate with the connecting piece 19 -.
The extension -22 is not against the front end of the connector, but against the felt cylinder. It is. So with this construction only one control in the axial direction is provided for the connec tion piece 19, namely the ring 21. FIG. 4 shows a construction in which the connection piece 16 is connected to the plug 13 by a bayonet lock.
For this purpose, the connection piece 16 is provided with a guide pin 26, which slides in a groove 27 formed in the plug 13 when the connection piece is attached, and slides along the screw-shaped rear face 28 of the plug 13 when the part 16 is turned. During this rotary movement of the connection piece, a sealing ring 29 attached to the same is tightened against the front end of the plug 18 and a log device between the parts 13 and 16 is thereby brought about.
The axial control of the connec tion piece 19 consists here of a ring 30 firmly connected to the connector 16, which engages between an extension 3l and a ring 32 which is firmly connected to the part 19.
In this construction, too, a felt cylinder 23 is provided between the parts 16 and 19. The right end of the connecting piece 19 is provided with a shrunk-on ring 33 which holds the felt cylinder 23 in position and at the same time secures the connecting piece against tilting movements.
The construction shown in FIG. 5 differs from the previous one in that the connecting piece 19 itself is rotatably mounted in the removable plug 13 serving as a connecting piece. A leaf spring 34 is provided on the inside of the part 19. One end of the spring is attached by a rivet 35 to the pipe wall, while the other end of the same with a guide pin 36 is a related party. A button 87 is connected to the spring to operate the spring. So probably the pin 36, as well as the button 37 penetrate in the wall of the part 19 provided openings 3.8 respectively. 39.
When attaching the connecting piece 19 in the plug 13, the button 37 is pressed downwards and the inner end of the tube is inserted into the opening 40 of the plug 13 until a bulge 41 formed in the connection piece 19 abuts against the correspondingly formed front end of the plug 13 . As soon as the button 37 is released, the pin 36 engages behind ter the rear face 42 of the plug 13 and thereby locks the connection piece against axial movement. In this way, the hose is rotatably connected to the vacuum cleaner by means of a resilient snap lock.
When the connecting piece is rotated, the pin 36 slides along this annular surface 42. It has been found that the seal introduced between the bulge 41 and the correspondingly shaped, that is to say provided with a bevel, front end of the plug 13 is completely sufficient.
