Luftveredelungsapparat.
Air conditioning apparatus. The present invention relates to an air conditioning apparatus having at least one water atomizing nozzle.
In the case of the already known designs of these devices, it was found that in summer they completely saturate the air when passing through the water mist, so that the same always emerges from the device with excessively high humidity. In the subject matter of the invention, the stated disadvantage should be avoided.
It is characterized by the fact that, in terms of air flow, a surface heat exchanger is built in after the nozzle and a droplet separator, the inlet and outlet of which is connected to the water supply line of the nozzle and Drainage and in the part of the water supply line located between the connection points, a shut-off device is installed so that the water to be atomized can be sent either via the heat exchanger or directly into the nozzle.
The air can be conveyed through the apparatus with an electric motor-driven fan. This fan is expediently mounted on a special base, completely separate from the housing.
Sometimes it is desirable to add odorising or disinfecting agents to the air for the purpose of inhalation. For this purpose, a cartridge filled with a disinfectant solution can be inserted into the housing in front of the air outlet openings. As soon as the air brushes past the latter, it absorbs these disinfectants through evaporation effects.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention and a detailed variant is shown.
Fig. 1 shows the apparatus in vertical section; Fig. 2 shows the detailed variant. The device is designed so that it - can be mounted on the floor of the room to be ventilated. The air on the floor of the room is sucked out through the blind A by means of a fan V provided with a motor and arranged in the apparatus and conveyed through the apparatus. The motor and fan are mounted on a special base.
Of course, it can also be set up so that the device sucks in fresh air instead of room air and for this purpose the blind A must be connected to the outside air by a pipe. At L the air enters the mixing funnel Z. Here it mixes with the atomized water emerging from the nozzle, whereby it is washed, dedusted and cooled. Of course, several nozzles can also be installed depending on requirements. The mixing funnel Z carries a water collecting channel TV at the lower end, from which the water flows through several pipes B into the water collecting tray D. The air in the mixing funnel is over-saturated.
This excess water is retained in the subsequent @ droplet separator P. The latter can, for example, consist of several rows of overlapping, inclined metal sheets. A surface heat exchanger 0 is arranged above the droplet separator P, which can consist of several rows of finned tubes lying one above the other.
As can be seen, the heat exchanger 0 is arranged after the nozzle F and the droplet separator P in terms of the air flow. The feed line Ei and the discharge line E2 from the heat exchanger are connected to the water supply line E of the nozzle and it is in the lines Ei. and E2 and in the part of the line E located between the connection points each a shut-off device Y, X, U is built in, so that the water to be atomized can be sent either via the heat exchanger 0 or directly into the nozzle F.
In winter, the heat exchanger can be connected to a hot water or steam heating system with lines B and Bi, whereby valves J and N must be open and valves X and Y closed. In doing so, the air is heated.
In summer, on the other hand, valves J and N are closed, while valves X and Y are opened, valve U remains_closed in_this case - _The - water = - then flows through Valve X to the surface heat exchanger 0 and from here through valve Y to the nozzle h '. The water atomized by the nozzle must first flow through the surface heat exchanger, which results in a better cooling effect and dehumidification of the air.
The air treated in this way enters the room through the outlet openings C. In Fig. 2, a cartridge K filled with disinfection solution can be seen. The air outlet hood has a central borehole into which the cartridge is hung. The cartridge itself can consist of a highly porous material, which absorbs the des infectious solution through capillary action. The solution is poured into the space M of the cartridge through an opening in the upper connector. Since the pretreated air now has to sweep past the cartridge before it gets into the outlet openings, the solution evaporates and mixes with the air.
