Electric incandescent lamp. The object of the present invention is an incandescent electric lamp, characterized in that the support of the filament is provided with at least one metallic reflector.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the lamp according to the invention.
FIG. 1 is a view of a first embodiment of a partially frosted, mushroom-shaped incandescent lamp having a tubular reflector fixed along the support of the filament; Fig. 2 is a view of a second embodiment of an incandescent lamp, also mushroom-shaped, partially frosted, in which the reflector placed at the lower part of the filament support has the shape of a disk.
On the support 1 of the filament of an incandescent lamp 2 (fig. 1) in the form of a pinion chamfer, with a base 3 with an Edison screw thread, is mounted a reflector 4, of tubular shape, . </ B> itya has the same diameter as the support and fits perfectly on its outer periphery. The reflector 4 is made of metal or an alloy,
for example in a sheet of nickel-plated or silver-plated brass or else in a sheet of well-polished or amalgamated nickel sheet. The lower part 5 of the lamp 2 is frosted, to better diffuse the light rays.
The reflector 4 reflects the scattered light rays, coming from the filament 6, against the transparent upper part of the lamp from where they can be reflected by an external reflector, mounted, for example, on the lamp socket.
Thanks to this reflector, the illuminating power of the lamp is increased by the concentration of a large part of scattered light rays.
In the second embodiment, shown in fig. 2, the internal reflector i is formed by a flat disc projecting forward, in the axial direction of the lamp, the light rays of the filament; he is. provided with a collar 8 by means of which it is retained on the lower end of the support 9 of the filament. The bulb 10, shown in the drawing, is frosted on its upper part 11, up to the diameter of the el lipsoidal part of the fungus, the lower part thus remaining transparent. The reflector 7 is also made of well polished nickel, amalgamated or silvered, in order to produce an optimum reflection effect.
Instead of a flat disc, the reflector 7 could have another concave or convex shape or even a combination of these shapes.
Depending on the case, the two reflectors 4 and 7 could be combined in the same lamp. In this case, it is advisable to use an external shade, reflecting the light rays reflected by the internal reflectors.
