<EMI ID=1.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>
Indoor luminaire The present invention relates to an indoor luminaire of the type comprising a diffuser.
Luminaires of the type concerned here consist essentially of a shaft, on top of which are mounted sockets for incandescent lamps and a lampshade.
<EMI ID = 1.1>
intermediary of an organ, usually a ring which
sits tight on the barrel. This organ is usually relatively fragile and not very stable.
The invention relates to an indoor luminaire of simple and compact construction which can be easily assembled and disassembled. It also relates to an interior luminaire having a shape which generates an aesthetic character.
This luminaire is characterized in that it comprises a base, a barrel of generally nested cylindrical shape
at its base in the base, this barrel having an outer surface formed so as to present a helical thread over a major part of its length, and a diffuser of generally annular shape having an inner surface formed so as to present a helical thread
adapted to cooperate with the helical thread of the outer surface of the barrel and extending over its entire axial length, one or more sockets for a lighting lamp being mounted inside the diffuser.
The invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
- Figures 1 and 2 are views, in vertical section <EMI ID = 2.1>
lighting,
- Figures 3 and 4 show two assembly variants of the luminaire.
The luminaire according to the invention comprises a base 1 in the middle of which is fitted a shaft 2 of generally cylindrical shape, the outer surface of which is formed so as to present a helical thread on
most of its length. A diffuser 3, of
<EMI ID = 3.1>
formed so as to have a helical thread identical to the thread of the outer surface of the barrel and extending over its entire axial length. Inside the diffuser 3 are mounted sockets 5 to receive lighting lamps 6.
The diffuser 3 is placed on the barrel 2 by simply screwing it onto the latter and it can be placed at the desired height by screwing up to the desired position. Figures 3 and 4 illustrate two positions of the diffuser 3 along the barrel 2.
The advantages of this luminaire are of several types. The assembly is compact and has only three units that can be easily assembled and disassembled, which facilitates both manufacture, storage and transport. In addition, the traditional fragile and / or unstable fixing or mounting members are eliminated, which gives the luminaire better overall stability. Finally, to the technical factors, there is an aesthetic one as the light sources move with the diffuser.
It is obvious that the general shape of the diffuser and of the base can be arbitrary, as can the overall dimensions. The three luminaire units can be made from any material suitable for being molded or turned, for example: wood, metal, marble, plastics.
It is also clear that variants can be produced: for example, incorporating a light source in the barrel 2.
