Vorrichtung zum Auspressen von Zitronen- oder Orangenschnitten. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Ausdrücken des Saftes aus Zitronen- oder Orangenschnitten. Die Vorrichtung be steht aus zwei segnrentförmigen, an den ge raden ganten gelenkig miteinander verbun denen, je einen Griff aufweisenden Pressplat- ten von etwa halbkreisförmiger Grundfläche, von denen die eine an ihrer Bogenkante mit einem aufgebogenen Rande versehen und zur Vermeidung eines Mitpressens der Frucht schale um so viel grösser als die andere ist,
dass bei gegeneinandergeklappten Platten zwischen dem aufgebogenen Rande und der Bogenkante der zweiten Platte ein Zwischen raum vorhanden ist.
Der aufgebogene Rand der grösseren Press- platte dient beim Pressen als Anlage für die Zitronen- oder Orangenschnitte.
Der Zwischenraum zwischen dem Bogen rande der kleineren Platte und dem aufge bogenen Rande der grösseren Platte hat zur Folge, dass die kleinere Pressplatte beim Pressvorgang nicht auf die Schale, sondern lediglich auf das Fruchtfleisch einwirken kann und so nur dessen reiner Saft ausgepresst wird. Es wird daher verhindert, dass die in der Schale enthaltenen Bitterstoffe iii den Saft gelangen und dessen Geschmack beein trächtigen.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Gegenstand der Erfindung an einem Ausführungsbeispiel veranschaulicht.
Fig. 1 zeigt die vollgeöffnete Vorrichtung im Aufriss ; Fig. 2 ist ein Grundriss zu Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 stellt die Vorrichtung mit einge legter Zitronenschnitte vor dem Auspressen dar ; Fig. 4 zeigt dieselbe Vorrichtung mit ein gelegter Zitronenschnitte nach dem Aus pressen ; Fig. "o ist ein Grundriss zu Fig. 4.
Die Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei an der geraden Kante durch Scharnier a gelenkig miteinander verbundenen, segmentförmigen Pressplatten b und c von etwa halbkreisför- miger Grundfläche. Die grössere Pressplatte b ist längs ihrer gebogenen Kante mit einem senkrecht zur Plattenfläche aufgebogenen Rande d ausgestattet.
Die andere, mit kleinen Buckeln versehene Pressplatte c ist um so viel kleiner, dass zwischen ihrer Bogenkante und dem Rande<I>d</I> der grösseren Platte<I>b,</I> wie aus dem Grundriss in Fig. 5 ersichtlich, ein Zwischenraum e bleibt, der mindestens so breit ist, wie gewöhnlich die Schalendicke bei Zitronen oder Orangen beträgt. An jeder der beiden Pressplatten ist ein Griff f bezw. g vorgesehen. Der Griff g der kleineren Platte c ist Z-förmig gekröpft.
Die Handhabung der beschriebenen Press- vorrichtung ist folgende Eine segmentförmige Fruchtschnitte h (Zitronen- oder Orangenschnitte) wird in der aus Fig. 3 ersichtlichen Weise zwischen die beiden Pressplatten b und c derart eingelegt, dass die Schale i in dem Zwischenraum e steht, welcher zwischen der Bogenkante der Platte c und dem aufrechten Rande d der Platte b verbleibt.
Sodann werden mittelst der beiden Griffe<I>f</I> und<I>g</I> die Pressplatten zusammengedrückt (Fig. 4 und 5), wobei das Fleisch der Fruchtschnitte nach und nach vollständig ausgepresst werden kann. Ein Entweichen von Fasern des Fruchtfleisches oder von Kernen ist nicht möglich. Die Schale i bleibt bei dem Pressvorgang stehen. Sie wird nahezu vollständig vom Fruchtfleisch befreit, ohne selbst die Auspressung zu be hindern und ohne selbst mit ausgepresst zu werden.

The device consists of two segment-shaped press plates b and c of approximately semicircular base, which are connected to one another in an articulated manner by hinge a. The larger press plate b is equipped along its curved edge with an edge d bent up perpendicular to the plate surface.
The other pressing plate c, which is provided with small bumps, is so much smaller that between its curved edge and the edge <I> d </I> of the larger plate <I> b, </I> as from the plan in FIG. 5 It can be seen that there remains a space e which is at least as wide as the thickness of the peel usually used for lemons or oranges. On each of the two press plates is a handle f or g provided. The handle g of the smaller plate c is cranked in a Z-shape.
The handling of the described pressing device is as follows: A segment-shaped fruit slice h (lemon or orange slice) is placed between the two pressing plates b and c in the manner shown in FIG. 3 such that the shell i is in the space e between the curved edge of the plate c and the upright edge d of the plate b remains.
The pressing plates are then pressed together by means of the two handles <I> f </I> and <I> g </I> (FIGS. 4 and 5), whereby the meat of the fruit slices can gradually be squeezed out completely. It is not possible for the fibers of the pulp or the seeds to escape. The shell i remains in place during the pressing process. It is almost completely freed from the pulp, without hindering the pressing itself and without being pressed out itself.
