Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Anthanthronderivates.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein wert  volles     Anthanthronderivat    erhalten kann, wenn  man     Methoxyanthanthron,    das durch     Methy-          lieren    des nach dem Verfahren des     schweiz.     Patentes Nr. 143992 erhältlichen     Monooxy-          anthanthrons    erhalten werden kann, mit einem       bromierend        wirkenden    Mittel behandelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff ist ein     Monobrommono-          metboxyanthanthron.    Er löst sich in Schwe  felsäure mit grüner Farbe und liefert aus rot  violetter     Hüpe    auf Baumwolle echte rote  Färbungen.    <I>Beispiel:</I>    33,6 Gewichtsteile     Methoxyanthanthron     werden bei 0   C in 330 Gewichtsteilen Chlor  sulfonsäure gelöst. Die grüne Lösung wird  nach Zugabe von 3 Gewichtsteilen Jod mit  16 Gewichtsteilen Brom versetzt, ungefähr  1 Stunde lang bei 0   C belassen und zur Be  endigung der Reaktion 1 Stunde lang bei ge  wöhnlicher Temperatur gerührt. Nach dem    Verdünnen mit Schwefelsäure giesst man auf  Eis, saugt ab und arbeitet in der üblichen  Weise auf.  



  Die Einführung von Brom kann auch nach  andern bekannten Methoden in Anwesenheit  organischer Lösungsmittel, wie     Nitro-    oder       Trichlorbenzol,    erfolgen.  



  Die Reinigung des neuen Farbstoffes, der  ein     Monobrommonomethoxyänthanthroti    dar  stellt, kann     erfordlichenfalls    durch     Umkristal-          lisieren    aus hochsiedenden organischen Lö  sungsmitteln, wie     Nitrobenzol,    oder über das  sich aus wasserhaltiger Schwefelsäure ab  scheidende Sulfat oder durch Behandeln in       Pastenform    mit Oxydationsmitteln, wie     Na-          triumhypochlorit,    erfolgen.

  The introduction of bromine can also be carried out by other known methods in the presence of organic solvents, such as nitrobenzene or trichlorobenzene.



  The purification of the new dye, which is a monobrommonomethoxyänthanthroti, can if necessary by recrystallization from high-boiling organic solvents such as nitrobenzene, or via the sulphate which separates out of hydrous sulfuric acid or by treatment in paste form with oxidizing agents such as sodium hypochlorite, respectively.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen Anthanthronderivates, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man Methoxyanthanthron, das durch Methylieren des nach dem Verfahren des Schweiz. Patentes Nr. 143992 erhältlichen Mo nooxyanthanthrons erhalten werden kann; -mit einem bromierend wirkenden Mittel behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff ist ein Monobrommono- methoxyanthanthron. Er löst sich in Schwe- felsäure mit grüner Farbe und liefert aus rot violetter Küpe auf -Baumwolle echte rote Färbungen.
