Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung von 4-Glykolylaminö-3'-amino-4'-ogyarsenobenzol- formaldehydbisulfit. Es wurde gefunden, dass die Forma:lde- hydbisulfitverbindungen asymmetrischer Ar- senobenzole, die durch Reduktion eines Ge misches von Glykolylaminoarylarsinsäuren der allgemeinen Formel:

und Arylarsinsäuren der allgemeinen Formel Aryl - As O(Oll)2 erhalten werden, sich zur Bekämpfung von Spirochäten- und Trypanosomenerkrankungen ganz besonders eignen. Vor den bekannten Arsenobenzolen, die als Heilmittel Verwen dung finden, zeichnen sich diese Verbindun gen durch absolut reizlose Verträglichkeit aus und dadurch, dass sie sowohl subkutan, als auch intravenös injiziert werden können.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von 4- Glykolylamino - 3' - amino - 4' - ogyarseno- benzolformaldehydbisulfit, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 4-Glykolyl- amino - '3' - amino - 4' - oxyarsenobenzol mit Formaldehydbisulfit umsetzt.
Das Präparat ist ein gelbes, in Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 15 -r 4 - Glyko:lylamino - 3' - amino - 4'- oxyarsenobenzol - natrium ( erhältlich nach s.ehweiz. Patent Nr. 144432) werden in 60 cm' Wasser gelöst und 4,5 g-f Formal- dehydbisulfitnatrium gelöst in 5 cm' Was ser, zugegeben.
Sobald eine entnommene Probe kohlensäurebeständig ist, wird die Lösung durch Kohlensäure und dann mit- telst 2n-Salzsäure auf lackmusneutral abge stumpft. Durch Eingiessen in ein Gemisch von 10 Teilen Alkohol und 1 Teil Äther wird das feste Präparat abgeschieden, abge saugt, mit Alkohol und Äther gewaschen und im Vakuum getrocknet. Das Präparat ist ein gelbes, in Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver.
