Diesellbe besitzt zwei Elektroden i, i1.
Machine for evacuating, filling with gas and soldering cans.
The present invention relates to a machine for evacuating, filling with gas and soldering cans provided with a pierced solder set, such as for example those filled with canned food. This machine is characterized in that a plurality of circumferentials arranged in the ring around a central column
Can holders are pressed tightly against a rotary table in a soldering set through drilled cans, which, acting as a control slide, initially connects the interior of the can with an evacuation line in one working position, then in a further working position a connection of the evacuated can with a gas supply line,
her after in another working position
Connection of the gas-filled can with a
Produces pressure equalization opening, then in a subsequent working position brings the gas-filled can into the area of an electrical soldering device for soldering the can solder set hole and finally delivers the sealed can to delivery, with a drive shaft by means of a holding gear the orbital movement of the can holder with the turntable from a working position to lets the other go step by step and. at the same time a, Tich actuates the soldering device.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention:
Fig. 1 is a vertical section of the same partly on line X-Y-Z and partly on line X-Y-Z1 of Fig. 2, folded into the drawing;
Fig. 2 is a half plan view, half a horizontal section thereof;
Fig. 3 is a detail section on a larger scale;
4 shows the partial development of a lifting path;
Fig. 5 illustrates a variant of the soldering device.
On a central column A is a
Sleeve B rotatably arranged, which carries a support plate C at the lower end and a table D at the upper end. The carrier plate C is provided with sleeves c evenly distributed around the column A, in which the can holders E are guided with their rod-shaped shaft e. At the lower end, the can holder shafts e are equipped with rollers et which run on an annular lifting path f (FIG. 4) of a disk F attached to the column A.
The turntable D performs the function of a control slide. It has several separate chambers D1 | provided, the side walls of which are made of transparent material and which are equipped with spring valves g, the rods of which protrude from the underside of the turntable D. The turntable D is in the upper part, which acts as a slide plate and rests tightly against a slide mirror G, in the area of the chambers D1 with control openings d, of which FIG. 1 shows two diametrically opposite one another.
The spring valves g open according to these control openings when they are pushed open from below by means of their rod, which occurs when a can through its holder E runs against a sealing cap when the corresponding roller e 'runs onto the raised part of the lifting path f h of the turntable D is brought up.
At one point on the turntable D, an electrical soldering device I is arranged above it and can be raised and lowered. Diesellbe has two electrodes i, i1. It is operated by means of a lever Ic and a vertically guided push rod 7ra which can be moved up and down by a grooved disk n.
The latter sits on a horizontal drive shaft 0, which is driven by means of a worm gear o from a belt pulley P and at the same time by means of a bevel gear p drives an intermediate shaft q, which is driven by means of a roller a. rmes r the carrier plate C, which is provided with slots s in the manner of a Geneva ratchet, is connected step by step.
The described machine works as follows:
The cans filled with goods, the top of which in a known manner carry a zen tral, pierced into the interior soldering set, are placed on the can holder E at point I (Fig. 2), where the depression of the lifting path f is located, and arrive when these rotate with the turntable D in the direction of the arrow x after they have been pressed against the sealing caps h of the turntable D by the action of the lifting path f, one after the other into a first working position II,
in which the can is brought into connection with an evacuation line M through one of the opened spring valves g and one of the control openings d of the turntable D so that it is evacuated. The same conditions are repeated in a subsequent working position IIa, into which the can is transferred during the next switching step of the carrier plate C in order to complete the evacuation. A next switching step of the carrier plate C leads the evacuated can into a further working position III, in which the turntable D opens the can with a line (not shown) by the same means.
for the supply of a pressurized gas, for example carbon dioxide, in connection so that it is filled with this gas, a process which is repeated in a further working position IIIa. In order to release the internal overpressure, the gas-filled can is then connected upstream in a further working position IV, in which it is brought into connection with the external atmosphere for pressure equalization, which is also repeated in the further working position IVE. Then the can is ready to be sealed. With a further switching stroke of the carrier plate C it now reaches the working position V in which the soldering device I comes into effect.
This sinks under the drive of the grooved washer n and, by means of its electrodes i, il, closes the circuit via the soldering set of the can, which is thus melted down to close its bore. After the Lotvo has risen. rrieh. Finally, another shuttering movement of the carrier plate C takes place in order to deliver the closed can at I and to make room for the delivery of a new can. Of course, these processes take place in sequence for all cans in the machine.
The chambers D1 also fill with gas during operation of the machine, so that in the working positions IV and IVa, where the pressure equalization takes place, the Isa. The contents of the outer atmosphere are located in front of the outer atmosphere and thus have an insulating effect against them, so that one has the security that no air from the outside can get into the inside of the can through the already heavier gas. can.
The actual soldering device could, instead of the two electrodes i, i1, also have only a single electrode, in which case the can body itself could be used as a second electrode by applying the electric current to the Can holder shafts e would lead over in the soldered position of the same.
Instead of an electric soldering iron, the electrodes of which are made of copper, for example, as in the exemplary embodiment described, it may be expedient to use a carbon electrode for contact with the pierced solder set to be melted. Such a device is given by the variant according to FIG. Here is a carbon electrode in a spring-supported holder! 7, which is arranged in a jacket tube V with the interposition of an insulating sleeve v. The holder U has three insulating feet H. The carbon electrode u is fed with electricity through the core piece W.
If the soldering device just described, which one has to think of as replacing the soldering device according to FIG. 1, goes down, the insulating feet come to rest on the can end cap with resilient pressure, whereupon the carbon electrode u too the pierced solder set a; gelant in contact, so that it is melted down immediately and thereby closes the hole. The insulating feet ç limit the decline of the carbon electrode u in the sense that da. ss let it sit on the soldering set. They can be adjusted in height on the holder U.
