Small compression refrigeration machine with air-cooled liquid condenser. The small compression refrigeration machines with air-cooled condensers known up to now work uneconomically. There are three types of cooling, namely, firstly, through the air's own movement, whereby only very poor cooling can be achieved; second, through artificial movement of the air.
Here, air that has been moved up to now is blown against free in the room on ordered condenser coils, whereby of course only a small part of the moving air can be used for the cooling effect and most of it passes by unused; thirdly, by guiding the air through a housing surrounding the condenser. In this case, the air is either blown sideways into the condenser coils so that they are only partially and not necessarily washed around, or the compressor and the motors are only cooled indirectly.
In all of these cases, the machine works with a high condenser temperature and disproportionately large air movements, which makes it uneconomical. According to the invention, the air is carried in two separate annular streams, one of which is used to cool the condenser and the other to cool the compressor and the motors of the compressor and the fan.
The accompanying drawing shows in an exemplary embodiment the subject of the invention in vertical section.
It is 1 of the condenser with two helically wound coils connected to the top mitein other, which BEZW in a known manner to the compressor 2. are arranged in a ring around the ribbed motor housing 3. 4 is a fan directly driven by the electric motor 5. 6 is an annular casing around the condenser tubes 1, 7, an annular hood between the tubes 1 and the housing of the motors 8 and 5.
The electric motor 8 for the compressor drive and the electric motor 5 for driving the Ventila sector are housed in separate rooms in a common housing 3. 9 is an annular inlet opening for the cooling air for the compressor 2 and the Mo gates 8 and 5. 10 and 11 are openings for the entry of the air flow for the condenser coils 1. 12 is a wire mesh that a To prevent contact with the fan while the machine is in operation.
The machine works as follows, for example: The air used for cooling is sucked out of the cavities by the fan and transported outside. The fresh air flows on the one hand through the annular opening 9 on the housing of the compressor 2 and the common housing 3 of the motors 8 and 5, this cooling, over, on the other hand, it passes through the inlet openings 10 and 11 and be stroking the condenser coils, the openings are dimensioned so that the necessary cooling is achieved.
Devices can also be arranged which make it possible to regulate the inlet openings for each of the two air streams individually in order to allow the required amount of air for the desired heat extraction to pass through the inlet openings in question. The purpose of the hood 7 is to separate the two air flows for the two cooling systems in order to prevent the air heated by the compressor and motors from entering the condenser.
The entire amount of air conveyed by the fan is fully used for cooling, and the coils of the condenser are intimately washed by the air flowing through, so that an increased degree of efficiency is achieved. The heated air that is extracted can also be conveyed directly to the outside through a pipeline to avoid the use of heated air.
