      Verfahren    zur Darstellung einer Verbindung mit hydriertem Ringsystem.    Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen hydro  aromatischer.     o-Dicarbonsäureanhydrids,    wel  ches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man       1.6-Diphenylhexatrien    mit     Maleinsäurean-          hydrid    kondensiert. Die neue Verbindung  soll<B>zur</B> Herstellung von     Farbstoffen,    pharma  zeutischen Produkten und     Riechstoffen    ver  wendet werden.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  200     (xewichtsteile        1.6-Diphenylhexatrien     werden mit 100 Gewichtsteilen     Maleinsäure-          anhydrid    zusammengeschmolzen. Die Reak  tion ist beendet. wenn die zunächst rotfar  bige Schmelze hellgelb geworden ist. Man  lässt erstarren und kristallisiert zweimal aus  Benzol um. Der neue Körper bildet rein    weisse Kristalle vom Schmelzpunkt 193  . Das  neue Produkt ist durch Zusammenlagerung  je eines Moleküls der Ausgangsmaterialien  entstanden.
