Apparatus for making naked pile fabric. The object of the present invention is an apparatus for making a pile fabric, that is to say a fabric comprising a bottom of flexible material, such as (coarse fabric, for example,
a binder formed by a layer of vuleanized rubber. and a pile of flexible fibers rising from this bottom and embedded by parts in said binder to be retained by it.
Many attempts have already been made to produce a pile fabric in 1; Dual hair is attached to a bottom at the core of an absorbent, but no satisfactory apparatus has been devised for making these materials.
The apparatus forming the object of the invention comprises means for forming, in a web of of fibers a series of transverse loops # - s, the base parts of which are substantially in the same plane, means for coating with rubber adhesive the surface containing the base parts of the loops thus formed.
