  Verfahren zur     Darstellung    eines     all;aliechten        Baumwollfarbstoffes    der     Stilbenreihe.            Es    wurde gefunden, dass     inan    zu einem       alkaliechten        Baumwollfarbstoff    -der Silben  reihe gelangen kann, wenn man das gelb  orangefärbende Kondensationsprodukt der       pp'-Dinitrostilben-oo'-disulfosäure        finit        Sulf-          anilsäure-azo-m-toluidin    mit einem Oxyda  tionsmittel,     beispielsweise        Hypochlorit,    be  handelt.

    



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  50 kg des nach dem deutschen Reichspatent       N'r.    2049.12 hergestellten gelborange färben  den Kondensationsproduktes aus     pp'-Dinitro-          stilben-oo'-disulfosäure    und     Sulfanilsäure-          a.zo-m-toluidin    werden in     200    Liter Wasser  und 5 kg Soda aufgekocht, auf<B>30'</B> gekühlt  und mit 200 Liter 10     %        iger        Natriumhypo-          chloritlösung    versetzt, im     Verlauf    einiger  Stunden bis zum Kochen erwärmt,

   mit Salz  säure neutralisiert und der entstandene Farb  stoff     ausgesalzen.     



  Der Farbstoff stellt ein orangerotes Pul  ver dar, löst sich in Wasser mit     gelboranger       Farbe und wird von Schwefelsäure mit  blauvioletter Farbe aufgenommen. Er färbt  Baumwolle in rein     gelborangem    Farbton.  die Färbungen sind     alkaliechter    und klarer  als diejenigen des Ausgangsmaterials.

Der Farbstoff stellt ein orangerotes Pul ver dar, löst sich in Wasser mit gelboranger Farbe und wird von Schwefelsäure mit blauvioletter Farbe aufgenommen. Er färbt Baumwolle in rein gelborangem Farbton.
