In der beiliegenden Zeichnung zeigt: Fig. 1 in Ansicht als erste beispielsweise Ausführungsform eine an der Felge be festigte Meldevorrichtung und eine Kontakt brücke, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht hiezu, teilweise Schnitt mit in Kontaktstellung befindlichem Kontaktstift, und Fig. 3 einen Querschnitt mit in der mitt leren Stellung befindlichem Kolben;
Device on vehicles for displaying tire pressure losses. There are display devices for motor vehicles known that show the pressure loss occurring in an air tire.
These known devices are so on the valve. attached so that the valve cone is relieved so that the air in the pneumatic tire acts on the devices (membranes or lever rods) required for movement.
The subject matter of the invention differs from these known devices in that the device does not have to be actuated by the valve cone, that is, from the valve itself, but by the air pressure of the tire acting on the device.
Activity is set.
The device can be designed in such a way that it not only reports pressure loss that occurs, but also displays the internal pressure of the tire when it is inflated.
In the accompanying drawings: Fig. 1 shows a view as a first example embodiment of a signaling device and a contact bridge fastened to the rim be, Fig. 2 is a side view of this, partial section with the contact pin in contact, and Fig. 3 is a cross section with in the piston located in the middle position;
4 shows, as a second embodiment, a display device for tire pressure losses without a pressure loss indicator; Fig. 5 and G relate to another exemplary embodiment from.
In FIGS. 1 to 3: 1 is a housing, 2 is a screw cap, 3 is a pressure piston. 4 a slot in the piston, 5 the piston rod, 6 colored rings, 7 a screw head, 8 a plate of the piston rod on which the piston rests, 9 a hollow contact piston, 10 a fork-like shaft of this piston, 11 an associated compression spring, 12 a spring arranged in the housing and acting on the pressure piston, 13 a contact pin.,
14 a screw nipple screwed into the contact piston 9, through which the movement of the contact pin 13 is limited, 15 a contact bridge, 16 a hole in the rim. 17 the rim, 18 the tire and 19 a flexible reinforcement axn pneumatic tire.
Before attaching the housing 1. the rim of the vehicle tire is expediently drilled through at the opposite point .dem the valve and then the T-shaped housing is attached to the rim by riveting the fastening tabs.
In the radially directed, cylindrical part of the housing 1, the lower part is displaced. The end flat with the in. Be train obliquely formed slot 4 in the direction of displacement provided Druckkol ben 3, which see against serving under Federwir effect plate 8 of the piston rod 5 is supported.
The piston rod is guided in the spring 12 in the housing exciting screw cap 2 and allowed at the free end with the successive colored rings 6, the, screw head 7 is designed as an impact head.
The slot 4 provided in the piston 3 serves to inevitably move the hinge pin 9, which is guided in the part of the T- -shaped housing designed as a cylinder and bifurcated at the inner end, using a hinge pin in the slot and move forward.
This contact piston 9, which can be displaced perpendicularly to the direction of displacement of the pressure piston, carries at its outer end the contact bolt 13, which is sprung in the contact piston itself.
If the plunger 3 is pressed into the housing by the pneumatic tire 18 equipped with a flexible reinforcement 19 at the pressure point, the piston rod 5 provided with colored rings 6 emerges from the screw cap 2 of the housing, the air pressure present through the austre border colored rings 6; the size of the piston rod is shown.
At the same time, equipped with the displaceably arranged Küntaktbolzenkopfe, with the plunger 3 and slot 4, fork-like and connected by hinge pins, Kontaktkol ben 9 when pushing the plunger into the housing of the height and inclination, corresponding to the slot, of the on the stationary drum of the brake disc attached contact bridge 15 back.
If the force of the piston compression spring 12 is greater than that of the compressed air of the pneumatic tire acting on the piston head, a loss of tire air is to be assumed.
The piston has then depressed the pneumatic tire under the influence of the spring 12 and has consequently moved radially towards the tire. and this movement on the piston coupled with the pressure piston Kon or. its contact pin 1,3 transferred. Here, following the movement, the contact pin emerged from the housing and ran onto the contact bridge, which is isolated in a known manner on the brake current.
The current is closed in a known manner and an elec trical signal is triggered, which lights up with each wheel rotation.
The embodiment according to Fig. 4 without pressure loss detector has a housing 1 in the Ge radially displaceable pressure piston 3, the rod 5 protrudes down through a screw cap 2 to the outside. The screw head 7 limits the upward movement of the piston 3 under the action of a spring 12.
As long as the tire is under the necessary pressure, it pushes the end of the plunger 3, which protrudes through an opening in the rim 17, down, so that depending on the size of the pressure, one or more of the colored rings 6 are visible, whereby the internal pressure of the tire is displayed.
In order to be able to use the above-described pressure loss detector for the so-called giant pneumatic tires, which are particularly sensitive in the cord layers, it is necessary to be able to adjust the contact rod indicating the pressure loss so that it immediately indicates any pressure loss.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 shows such a pneumatic tire pressure tester, namely the contact piston designed as a contact piston rod is not inevitably controlled by the pressure piston, as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, but is spring-influenced for this type of use brought into locking position by hand.
20 is a cross-shaped housing specially designed for this purpose, 21 is a cranked D'ruuekkoJben, 22 is a guide slot, 23 is a spring plate of the same, 24 is a latch in the contact piston rod 25, 26 is a stop head, 27 is a spring-loaded locking pin in the piston 2'1, 2 $ a contact piston compression spring for the contact piston rod, 29 a dust cover for the stop button.
. The radially directed plunger 21 is U-shaped cranked and carries a vertically inserted, influenced by a spring 30 th locking pin 27, while the connecting web 21a, which connects the plunger 21 with the spring plate 23, has a guide slot 22 through which the hori zontal in the cross-shaped housing resiliently displaceable contact piston rod goes through and at the end a stop head 26: carries. The contact piston rod is seen ver on the surface with a detent 24 into which the head of the locking pin 27 fits. The movement of the contact piston rod is limited by the stop head 26.
If the tire is inflated to normal pressure in accordance with regulations, the pressure piston, as mentioned above, with its locking pin and. tensions the compression spring 12 located under the pressure piston; here the head of the locking pin is placed on the contact rod. If you now want to bring the contact rod into the locking position, after unscrewing the hood 29, you grasp the stop head 26 of the contact rod and pull it back until the head of the locking pin seated on the contact rod jumps into the catch 24.
If there is a loss of pressure, the pressure piston moves upwards through the rim, the head of the locking pin emerges from the detent and the contact rod is pushed out of the housing under the influence of the tensioned horizontal spring 28 (see Fig. 6 ), and its contact pin enters the area of an insulated contact bridge 15, as described above. The locking pin can be regulated so that the triggering of the same can be adjusted accordingly at a certain internal tire pressure.
