Description

  

  Verfahren zur Verbesserung Eigenschaften von     Nontanwachs.       Montanwachs, das durch Behandlung mit  Oxydationsmitteln, zum Beispiel mit Chlor,  Chromsäure, mit Luft bei Gegenwart von  Salpetersäure usw., gebleicht worden ist, hat  infolge seines hohen Gehaltes an freien orga  nischen     ,Säuren    die Neigung, bei der Ver  wendung, zum Beispiel in Schuhcremen,  Bohnermassen     usw.,    zu kristallisieren.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man diesen  Nachteil beseitigen kann, wenn man die       Carboxylgruppen        (COOH),    der in dem     ge-          ,bleichten    .Montanwachs enthaltenen freien  organischen Säuren mit Glyzerin     verestert.     Man erhält ein     hartes,    helles Wachs, das eine  Neigung zum Kristallisieren nicht mehr zeigt  und sich zur Herstellung von Schuhcremen,  Bohnermassen,     Politurmitteln        etc.    vorzüglich  eignet.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  100 Teile durch Behandlung mit Chrom  säure in saurer Lösung gebleichtes Montan  wachs werden mit 2,5 Teilen Glyzerin im       Autoklarven    auf zirka 200  erhitzt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Eigen schaften von oxydierend gebleichtem Montan wachs, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Carboxylgruppen der in dem Montanwachs enthaltenen freien organischen -Säuren mit Glyzerin verestert. Das erhaltene Produkt ist ein hartes, helles Wachs, das keine Neigung mehr zeigt zu kristallisieren, und das sich vorzüglich zur Herstellung von @Sohuhcremen, Bohnermassen, Politurmitteln usw. eignet.
