   In den deutschen Patentschriften 182260,191097 sind rote Küpenfarbstoffe beschrieben, die durch Kondensation von   Oxythionapbten   mit Isatin oder seinen Halogenderivaten bzw. Substitutionsprodukten erhalten werden. 



   Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man zu neuen klaren gelbstichig braunen, den obigen ähnlich konstituierten Küpenfarbstoffen dadurch gelangt, dass das in den Annalen der Chemie 388, 1912, Seite 10 beschriebene 2.   1-Naphtooxythiophen.

   German patents 182260,191097 describe red vat dyes which are obtained by condensation of oxythionapbes with isatin or its halogen derivatives or substitution products.



   It has now been found that new clear yellowish brown vat dyes similar to the above can be obtained by using the 2.1-naphtooxythiophene described in Annalen der Chemie 388, 1912, page 10.
