  Verfahren zur Darstellung einer festen, haltbaren     Diazoverbindung.            Gegenstand    der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung einer festen,  haltbaren     Diazoverbindung,    darin bestehend,  dass man eine Lösung von dianotiertem     4-          Chlor-2-amino-l-diphenyläther    mit Cadmium  chlorid versetzt. Das     Endprodukt    stellt ein  bräunliches, kristallines, haltbares, in Wasser  lösliches Pulver dar, welches zur Darstellung  von     Azofarbstoffen    Verwendung finde.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine aus 220 Teilen     4-Chlor-2-amirio-l.-          diphenyläther,    1100 Teilen 20     %iger    Salzsäure  und 190 Teilen 40     o/oiger        Natriumnitritlösung     hergestellte     Diazolösung    wird mit einer Lösung  von 130 Teilen kristallisiertem Cadmium  chlorid in 130 Teilen Wasser versetzt. Die       Diazoverbindung    scheidet sich alsbald als       Cadmiumdoppelsalz    aus. Die     Abscheidung     kann durch Zusatz von Kochsalz vervoll  ständigt werden. Das     Diazosalz    wird ab  filtriert und in üblicher Weise fertig gemacht.

    Es stellt ein bräunliches, kristallines, halt-    bares, in Wasser lösliches Pulver dar, wel  ches zur Herstellung von     Azofarbstoffen     Verwendung findet.

The diazo compound is soon separated out as a cadmium double salt. The separation can be completed by adding common salt. The diazo salt is filtered off and made ready in the usual way.
