  Verfahren zur Darstellung einer festen, haltbaren     Diazoverbindung.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung einer festen,  haltbaren     Diazoverbindung,    darin bestehend,  dass man eine Lösung von dianotiertem     1-          Amino-4-methyl-6-iiitrobenzol    mit Cadmium  chlorid versetzt. Das Endprodukt stellt ein  graues, kristallines, haltbares, in Wasser  lösliches Pulver dar, welches zur Darstellung  von     Azofarbstoffen    Verwendung findet.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In eine aus 152 Teilen     1-Amino-4-methyl-          6-riitrobenzol,    800 Teilen 15      /oiger    Salzsäure  und 70 Teilen     Natriumnitrit    dargestellte       Diazolösung    werden 140 Teile kristallisiertes       Cadmiumchlorid    eingetragen. Die     Diazover-          bindung    scheidet sich alsbald als Cadmium  doppelsalz aus. Die     Abscheidung    kann durch  Zusatz von Kochsalz vervollständigt werden.  Das     Diazosalz    wird     abfiltriert,    und in üb  licher Weise fertig gemacht.

   Es stellt ein  graues, kristallines, haltbares, in Wasser    lösliches Pulver dar, welches zur Herstellung  von     Azofarbstoffen    Verwendung findet.

  <I> Example: </I> 140 parts of crystallized cadmium chloride are introduced into a diazo solution made from 152 parts of 1-amino-4-methyl-6-nitrobenzene, 800 parts of 15% hydrochloric acid and 70 parts of sodium nitrite. The diazo compound is soon separated out as a cadmium double salt. The separation can be completed by adding table salt. The diazo salt is filtered off and made ready in the usual way.

   It is a gray, crystalline, durable, water-soluble powder that is used for the production of azo dyes.
