Description
Längs-beziehungsweise Quermittellinien der beiden F. a.
Articulated vehicle consisting of two halves of track vehicles supported on a single-axle support frame.
It is known that the ends of two opposing vehicle halves on one. common support frame so that they together form an articulated vehicle, and this is easily possible if this support frame of two
Axes is worn. As soon as this Tragge alternate should only be uniaxial, the task arises, this support axis in
Tracks so radia. l to lead that the same in a straight track perpendicular to the track center line and in a track curve radial to the
The center of curvature is when this articulated vehicle has a good La. uf should have.
The subject of the invention is an articulated vehicle with a support frame with only one support axis for receiving the facing ends of two rail vehicle halves to be connected, which support axis is connected to the two vehicle halves in such a way that it is necessarily guided radially, that is to say in the track straight line is set perpendicular to the track center line and in the track curve radial l to the center of curvature.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing is in scheme. table way an embodiment of the
The subject of the invention in the view, in FIGS. 2 and 3 in plan in the track straight line and in the track curve.
In the figures, 1 denote the two vehicle halves, which are supported with their ends 2 at point 3 on the support frame 4, which in turn rests on the support axis 5. 6 are fixed points on the support frame around which equal-armed double levers 7 can swing, which are articulated to the vehicle ends 2 by connecting rods 8. 9 and 10 are the
Longitudinal or transverse center lines of the two F. a.
Hearing halves, and 11 and 12 are connecting rods which connect the end axles of the articulated vehicle diagonally with the support frame 4 so that these axles are also adjusted radially when the relevant vehicle half turns into the same when entering a track curve.
Because the Lä. If the center lines 9 of the two vehicle halves intersect at point 3, which is located in the middle of the support axis 5 and on the track center line, the center line of the support axis 5 must be the bisector, the angle which the longitudinal center lines 9 or the two transverse center lines 10 of the two vehicle halves form with each other, whereby the position of the support axis 5 in the track line is always perpendicular to the track center line and in the track curve, on the other hand, radially to the center of curvature.
Because the position of the axis 5 in the track is inevitably determined, the end axes of the articulated vehicle also adjust themselves radially when they are connected diagonally to the supporting axis or its frame as soon as one half of the vehicle turns against it when entering a track curve.
