Il est caractérisé par le fait que les deux extrémités de l'une des deux pièces sont dis posées côte à côte et sont réunies l'une à l'autre, que la seconde pièce présente, d'une part, un logement recevant les deux extré mités réunies de la première pièce, logement ouvert latéralement par rapport à ces ex trémités et, d'autre part, au moins un organe d'arrêt rigidement relié à elle et destiné à passer à l'intérieur de la boucle formée par la première pièce, un coulant indépendant dc la seconde pièce, mais mobile par rapport à cette dernière, et pouvant occuper deux po sitions,
dans l'une desquelles il dégage l'ou verture latérale du logement de la seconde pièce de manière qu'on puisse placer la pre mière pièce dans ce logement en faisant pas ser l'organe d'arrêt dans la boucle formée par cette première pièce, tandis que dans l'autre il emprisonne la première pièce dans le loge ment en empêchant l'organe d'arrêt de sor tir de la boucle. Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispo sitif.
Les fig. 1 et 2 en sont une élévation laté rale, partie en coupe et un plan; elles mon trent les pièces encore séparées; Les fig. 3 et 4 en sont une coupe longi tudinale et un plan représentant les pièces fixées l'une à l'autre.
L'une des deux pièces est constituée selon les fig. 1 à 4 par un cordon flexible a, en cuir, en matière textile par exemple, dont les deux extrémités b, c disposées côte à côte sont réunies à demeure par une ligature d en fil textile, si bien qu'il forme une boucle.
La seconde pièce, métallique, a la forme générale d'une auge renversée e ouverte en f à l'une de ses extrémités, fermée à l'autre en g et présentant à celle-ci une calotte de recouvrement la; à la première extrémité se trouve une dent d'arrêt i, venue de fabrica tion avec le fond de l'auge et saillant perpen diculairement à ce fond. Cette seconde pièce présente ainsi un logement x ouvert en bout en 9 et latéralement en z. Sur les deux extrémités b, c réunies du cordon a coulisse le coulant métallique j dont les dimensions intérieures sont telles qu'il peut passer sur l'auge e et sur la calotte <I>h</I> jusqu'à ce qu'il se heurte à une butée l, ,.
On se sert comme suit de cette forme d'exécution pour fixer le cordon a et l'auge e l'un à l'autre.
On relie les extrémités b, c du cordon a, disposées côte à côte, par la ligature d et on enfile le coulant j sur elles, de façon qu'il se trouve à la position représentée sur les fig. 1 et 2. On place alors l'auge renversée e sur ces extrémités dé façon que la dent i pénètre à l'intérieur de la boucle formée par a et que ces extrémités passent entre la ca lotte h et l'auge e.
On déplace enfin le cou lant j de la droite vers la gauche pour l'a mener à la position des fig. 3 et 4, où il emprisonne les extrémités b, c dans l'auge, où il empêche la dent i de sortir de la boucle de a et où il déborde légèrement sur la calotte la de façon à cacher l'intérieur de l'auge e. Les deux pièces a, e ne peuvent plus se sé parer tant que ce coulant j n'est pas ramené en arrière à sa première position.
Le cordon peut ne pas être en cuir ou en i?ne matière textile.
Les deux pièces à fixer peuvent ne pas être constituées par un cordon et une auge.

One of the two parts is made according to FIGS. 1 to 4 by a flexible cord a, made of leather, of textile material for example, the two ends b, c of which are arranged side by side and are permanently joined by a ligature d of textile thread, so that it forms a loop.
The second piece, metallic, has the general shape of an inverted trough e open at one of its ends, closed at the other at g and having thereto a covering cap 1a; at the first end is a stop tooth i, manufactured with the bottom of the trough and protruding perpendicularly to this bottom. This second part thus has a housing x open at the end at 9 and laterally at z. On the two ends b, c joined together of the drawstring the metal slider j, the internal dimensions of which are such that it can pass over the trough e and over the cap <I> h </I> until it comes up against a stop l,,.
This embodiment is used as follows to fix the bead a and the trough e to each other.
The ends b, c of the cord a, arranged side by side, are connected by the ligature d and the slider j is threaded on them, so that it is in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. We then place the inverted trough e on these ends so that the tooth i penetrates inside the loop formed by a and that these ends pass between the ca lotte h and the trough e.
Finally, the cou lant j is moved from the right to the left to bring it to the position of FIGS. 3 and 4, where it traps the ends b, c in the trough, where it prevents tooth i from coming out of the loop of a and where it overlaps slightly on the cap la so as to hide the inside of the trough e. The two parts a, e can no longer be separated as long as this runner j is not brought back to its first position.
The cord may not be of leather or textile material.
The two parts to be fixed may not consist of a cord and a trough.
